It wasn't much of a great day to me but they deserved the break. It felt strange to walk through this house with no servants. It felt so large and stiff, cold and haunted. Like the walls wept wherever I walked, and perhaps they did. I was never an angel, and many lives had been lost in this mansion. The lives of business partners, the lives of servants who'd made the mistake of accidently dropping a plate when I was in a bad mood and I just killed them, the lives of mistresses who'd grown too attached and the lives of enemies.

I laughed and ran to Elena and Mitch. We came to the haunted mansion. Like I thought, there are crowds here too. I walked behind Elena and Mitch. There was a spooky tree beside the mansion. The house was decorated with the theme of halloween with a skull on the entrance above the door. Jack o lantern statues here and there. As soon as we entered the mansion, it was dark inside. There were some places lit here and there and There was a huge ancient chandelier on the ceiling looking majestic and giving the castle vibe inside it. It had elevator paintings and sewing pieces on chairs and spooky things on the wall. As we proceeded further, there were many rooms with a castle vibe. The pet cemeter

Sounds fishy but that does not mean the place is haunted. " No Mom. I don't believe in ghosts. Besides, I told you that the mansion is the only place we can go to. If it's haunted, we can get an exorcist to put your mind at ease. That or we go on our knees and beg uncle and aunt for a place to stay. For the last time, which one is it?" I ask with a serious tone. She looks at me without answering as she tries to think of something else, but after a few seconds, she sighs and finally gives in.

‘Did it come from that mansion? Sonya’s memory flashed into her childhood. She saw that old mansion behind the fence of her family’s property. It was only separated by a small path. It was an ivory-coloured mansion with some rambling plants. ‘Granny often warned me not to visit that old mansion. She always said that the mansion once was owned by a rich and arrogant merchant family. Whenever I asked Granny why she didn’t allow me to visit that mansion, she answered that the mansion had been aged and never renovated. She was afraid of something bad happening when I played around that place!’

He asked while scooping ice creams for the young girl in a cute twin braid. "It's good and fun. At first was so funny and scary. We used to think that the mansion is haunted. I even thought that a white lady was living with us." I said as I chuckled when I remember those. "A white lady?! Mom!" I was shocked to see the girl suddenly shouted and start crying. "Maybe because you mentioned a white lady. You know kids." Grandpa whispered. I was about to come to her to calm her down when a lady came and lift her up. She is still crying. Maybe she's her mother.

"If that's what you want, that's what we'll do, then." I smiled and continued walking, forgetting the little argument. I watched how the wild waves tried to reach my shoes and how it always end up failing. Later, I caught a glimpse of the tall mansion in front. The huge house has a nice architecture. But due to the length of time and lack of aruga, your house looked haunted. But if you look closely, you will know that it was beautiful then. I stopped and faced Rustov. "Why don't we go in?" I asked, pointing to the mansion. I wonder ... is it true what people say that there is a ghost there?
