My Grandma died some few years ago but not after telling me everything I have to know, not after leaving a great burden on my shoulders. It was after her death that I decided to relocate. Thea tried all her best to let me stay but I told her I had to leave for my own good. I know that it is bad and very coward of me to always relocate when I am betrayed. I know I should learn to face my demons but what can a broken person really do? What good can ever come out of a broken Pieces of heart? Thea even insisted to follow me here too but I immediately turned her down and explained things clearly to her and she eventually understood.

Tears falling like an neverending waterfall from my eyes. I didn't have to mindlink my father, he already knewn she was gone by the snapping of the mate bond, letting him known she was dead. The screams I heard from my father that night were sounds you would never think a grown man could make. His screams mirroring that of a banshee, ear piercing cries rang through out the bathroom, bouncing off the silver tile walls.

I sit upright again and reach both hands down, gripping the thin fabric of her top, right in the middle of her chest between her breasts. I pull apart savagely. RRIIIPP! It’s so satisfying, such a delicate material to tear apart. Her breasts pop out, jiggling slightly from the ripping motion. Her top is left hanging wide open, torn straight down the center. Only the very top and very bottom left intact, leaving her looking ravaged.

Something hot. Tears.

I heard it shatter again, even worse than before. Rachel's eyes went wide, and her lips parted slightly, but she didn't utter a single word. "I used to treasure it because I loved you," I said flatly. "You gave it to me, so I treated it like something precious. But now? I can't stand anything that reminds me of you." As I spoke, I saw her eyes start to fill with tears. Then, without thinking, I lifted my hand and wiped the corner of my eye. It was the first time I'd ever seen Rachel cry. But I had cried for her plenty of times.

The bond ripping apart—thread by thread. Not severed. But unraveling, unraveling fast.

Tears streamed down my face. I couldn't understand. When I rehearsed my speech in class, my classmates were moved to tears. Why wouldn't Mom listen to me? My speech was filled with the deepest adoration I could give her as her daughter. Eventually, Ms. Reed sent her the rehearsal video. I stood on stage, reading out the last part emotionally. "My mother works hard and often has to do the night shift. Everyone says she's unlucky, but I never think that way. She mends hearts. She helps the dead to leave this world in a presentable state and the living to say their goodbyes with a smile.
