Before I can understand what is happening, the black wolf has shifted beneath her paws, and I am looking into the eyes of Alpha Andrew. He throws his arms up to shield his face from River’s unwavering affection. “Okay, Okay,” he chuckles. “I am happy to see you too.” River sits back on her hind legs and allows him to stand up. “Oh my goddess,” River purrs as she takes in his naked body in front of us. “Look away!” I squeal at her not wanting this to be the first time I see a man naked. “Speak for yourself,” she growls. “I am going to look at this all day.”

“I apologize for this confusion but my son Levi was sent to his mother’s pack the moment he was born. He was born with a special type of wolf and his mother's Pack was the only right place to train him, we didn't know if he was going to survive or not so we kept his birth a secret. But now, he is back to reclaim his rightful position. Levi Harrington will be the new Alpha of Silver Clawers Pack!” My father raised his hand, the crowd were quiet for a while but then the host started clapping and cheering. And just like that, the crowd joined him. The lights focused on the three of them, My father, his concubine and my step brother.

Turning to Alexander, I look up into his eyes before asking curiously, “What will you do when you find the other Alpha?” Pausing, he doesn’t say anything at first, but after a minute or two he finally replies angrily in a voice filled with hatred while looking out the window to avoid my stare, “I will kill him with my bare hands. He deserves no mercy for what he did. First, he trespassed into my territory and then he killed some of my best people. This is unforgivable.”

"As far as I know, Alpha, he is a mafioso in the village of Avaluna. He controls the nightclubs, the illegal drug trade and some other things there." Oscar chuckled with a dismissive look on his face. "Mafia in the village of Avaluna? Ridiculous." Oscar's answer sparked a new conclusion in Era's mind. They were not Mosha's people. "Wait." Oscar's expression changed. Apparently, he had almost missed something, so he turned to Philo and asked, "Does that mean Mosha is hunting them? Did Mosha make them that way?" Philo nodded. "Yes, Alpha. They are Mosha's people."

I stretched my neck, aiming to have a better look on her features. It was all futile. Having her silky chestnut locks waves through the wind, grazing her shoulder had unfortunately covered most of her face. My throat let out a grunt, irritated. Wait, irritated? What am I annoyed about? I shook my head a couple of times, prompting me to focus on the subject matter. My brain moved on drive, curious as to what causes her to venture on such an act. By the way she set forth her emotions, the Alpha must have infuriated her greatly. Alphas are sometimes very vexing to be around with. I won't deny that.

That was cold, he could've at least let me thank him for helping me that time. "What a dick." Daichi said, fixing up his tie. "They think just because they're alphas, they can strut around like their hot stuff, piss off." He yelled but they were probably too far to hear. Daichi is a beta and he's hated alphas for as long as I can remember but he's friends with some people who are alphas. He might hate alphas but in his words, "Only the Alphas who are too proud to distinguish right from wrong." Akito on the other hand is an alpha that he trusts, we all met in elemtary school but Daichi and I were friends first.

Most of the time, I just lay there with my ears raised, listening. For footsteps. For claws scraping bark. For voices that didn’t belong in my woods. I didn’t talk to anyone. I didn’t dare. But I listened to everything. I listened to lone wolves moving through the deep woods, muttering to themselves. I listened to the few travelers who still used the old paths, their words drifting like smoke on the breeze. Piece by piece, the story started to make sense. Alpha Dawn’s pack had grown huge. They claimed more and more land each season. Anyone who spoke against them disappeared. And Dawn himself… people said he never got sick or hurt. Scars that should have killed him vanished overnight.

Pippa sober silently, I kept my face straight as she picked the document with shaking hands and read through it. She then fell on the floor, “ Have mercy on me Alpha, am the deserving Luna to you, I know everything thing about you,” she sobbed, “And I know about all the young wolves you’ve been swindling with around the whole place,” I replied as I stood up after passing my message.
