Bow Echo
“Look, the fire is spreading quickly. You need to get us out of here, or we’re next.”
Zephyra pressed her lips together, turning back towards Tonya. Brady was right. The fire was spreading quickly, and Tonya was no longer moving. She gritted her teeth and shoved the guilt away, running over to her bow and quiver. She slung the quiver around her waist, taking out an arrow on her way back over to Brady. Using the bladed arrowhead, Zephyra cut him free. Then she ran over to Ethan. How was she going to cut through the chains?
“Move,” Zephyra heard Brady say, and she stood. He held the fireplace poker like a baseball bat, wavering a little. He looked ready to spill his lunch again.
