Flames Returns - Havenwood Series (Book 1)

Flames Returns - Havenwood Series (Book 1)

Zak POV: Rolling over, I groan as the bright light of the morning assaults my eyes. "f*****g bright" I mutter as I force myself to sit up and stretch my tired body. Groaning as the headache hits me with a vengeance, I stumble to the shower, desperate to wash away the memories of last night. Wincing as I breath in a hint of Tanya's sickly sweet perfume, I mentally slap myself at giving in to her advances.

The Lost Pack

The Lost Pack

Something wrong. Not a presence, but an absence. A place where life should be… and isn’t. There is a hollow where that warmth should be. A cold pocket that doesn’t breathe, doesn’t grow, doesn’t belong. It isn’t dead. It’s worse than that. It’s hungry. My glow flares in response, instinctive and furious, and I hear the Twiceborn growl low, sending a chill up my spine. “There’s something near us,” I whisper. “Something pretending it belongs.”

Loving this book so far! Author, as many have stated in the chapter comments, 291 & 292 are repeat chapters from 283 & 284. Though I do believe they should be at 291/292 (makes more sense) and not 283/284.

this was the first story I read by this author. it was beautiful! I felt every emotion and got some crazy looks from my mate when I would start laughing or wiping my face because I shed some tears. it's definitely worth reading. I finished it in 2 days because I literally couldn't put it down

Hollow Throne

Hollow Throne

Demi said. "That's it." Nora pushed the door open. "Come in." Inside. The restricted section was smaller than the main Vault. The light was low, amber, the kind designed for documents rather than people. Demi moved to the nearest shelf and looked at the spines with no titles, only dates in a notation system that used vampire calendar conventions rather than Gregorian ones. "How do you find anything here?" "Same way I find anything." Nora moved to the third row, second shelf. The dark leather volume was exactly where it had been. She lifted it carefully. The way you handled things that were old enough to make your hands feel young by comparison

TASTE OF THE CURSED LUNA

TASTE OF THE CURSED LUNA

It’s spiked with honey-root for the pain. Emily reached into her bag, pulling out the silver flask she’d found on the 10th floor. She unscrewed the cap. The steam smelled of cocoa and medicinal herbs. She took a sip, the heat blooming in her chest, dulling the ache in her ribs. Emily: Why? I'm a Latent. I'm 'The Hollowed.' Why waste your time on a girl who has no wolf? The Watcher: Maybe I prefer the girl to the beast. Sleep, Emily. The sun comes early for those who work.

EMERGENCE: The Subnatural Chronicles

EMERGENCE: The Subnatural Chronicles

The First Ones’ city collapses, its crystalline spires shattering, its shadowed halls crumbling under twin suns, their silver and black light swallowed by void, a broken hymn of the Veil’s heart, anchored by my fading essence to Elara’s dream of coexistence. My crescent mark is gone, my essence a dying spark, the First Ones’ blade lost forever. Cassia holds me against the sanctum’s cracked arch, her crimson aura blazing, her amber eyes fierce with the Hollow’s fire, her strength the only anchor to my dissolving soul, silver blood pooling at her feet. My human form is a shadow, wings a dream, my Convergence form sacrificed, and the Veil’s hum is a faint pulse, a guardian’s duty extinguished.

MOONBOUND

MOONBOUND

AXEL. The hallways are empty as I arrive in school this morning—a clear indication of how late I am. Again. The absence of students loitering around makes the halls almost as silent as a graveyard, and in that small quiet, one thought burns through my mind, like hot metal on flesh: Ivy Watson saw me shift into my wolf.

THE HEIR AND THE HOLLOW VOW

THE HEIR AND THE HOLLOW VOW

It was a wound. The sky above was gray and rotting, and the air shimmered with a pale, golden mist that clung to her skin like grief. Black trees stretched into the horizon like skeletal hands, their bark wet with sap that smelled of iron and burnt sage. Riven came through behind her, and the Gate sealed itself shut. They were alone. But not for long. “The Hollow senses you,” he said. “Is that good?” “No.” They walked in silence, through the pathless land where the ground cracked and pulsed beneath their feet.

WOLVES OF WINTER MOON

WOLVES OF WINTER MOON

he hissed, twisting, reaching again with tendrils of black magic. But the Winter Wraith had sensed the surge. It slid into the corridors like living shadow, drawn to the bond’s ferocity, to Lyra’s ascendant bloodline, to the power they wielded together. Its presence coiled around the castle like smoke, whispering threats, promises, and hunger into every stone. Lyra could feel it calling her name, deep, inside her blood, ancient and relentless. Rylan’s hands tightened around her waist, pressing her into him. Gold flared in his eyes, wolf beneath the surface surging forward in desperate, protective hunger. “It’s here,” he growled. “We have to move… now!”

Hazel's Awakening: The Lycan's Heartbeat

Hazel's Awakening: The Lycan's Heartbeat

*** Hazel’s pov The next morning, I woke up feeling determined. I had been doing everything in my power to adjust to life in the Red Moon pack and no matter what Evelyn threw at me, I wasn’t going to give up. The soft light of morning sun shone through my window as I stretched and got ready for the day. I quickly washed then dressed, deciding to go down to the healing tent. The healers were always nice and learning new things from Mara made me feel like I was actually helping with something. But as soon as I stepped outside the packhouse, that’s when things started getting weird.

I'm not going to tell you take your flowers for writing this book cause you deserve the world. like what??? from the first line about the moon goddess, I was shook!... I don't want to spoil it for anyone but I kind of like how she ended up with (***) when he could see her as a potential enemy cause
The Wordweaver
This is an intriguing read! I must confess that I dislike Alpha Ryder. He is definitely the stumbling block in her life. Ugh! Dude wants to eat his cake and have it. *Rolls my eyes* Her stepfather is a jerk. Keep updating! I can't wait to read more.
