I repeated to myself I look around. I need to defend myself. I grabbed onto a good branch. A man appears out of the shadows. "Well well well, look what we have here. A female alone in the woods," He closes his eyes and raises his head, inhaling deep into his lungs. When his eyes open, they were black with lust. He smiles darkly, "And In heat. Perfect." "Stay away from me!" I say as I swing the branch around, panting. The pain was getting worse.

He gave me one final glance before turning and fleeing into the crowd. My thoughts were racing as I watched him leave. I couldn't shake the sense that terrible things were coming. Regardless of whether they wanted to admit it or not, the group was already divided. Additionally, this enigmatic wolf-man was the spark that could ignite anything. He was tall, his face hidden beneath the hood of a heavy cloak made from dark, matted fur, but his amber eyes shone with an eerie, unnatural light. He moved with the grace of a predator, each step deliberate, almost calculated. Raynor’s instincts flared. Every fiber of his being screamed at him that this man was no ordinary enemy. He was something worse. Something tied to the very heart of the forest they had just ventured through.

I asked firmly as I approached the old man. The man looked frightened. He didn’t say a word, but instead darted away from the tree and disappeared into the deepest part of the woods. And I was left standing there, wondering who the man was and what he was doing at the place of the incident. It all seemed odd to me.
