Malakai wears the red and black armor that most of the soldiers wear although the military insignia of his pauldrons shows a deer head with a circle in the background. This is the symbol of the king that was used way back during the time of the old world and before the flood that wiped out all of man's creation that stayed on land, besides the Wild Lands.
