The Dragon King's Chosen Bride

The Dragon King's Chosen Bride

She took a deep breath and sighed in relief. Maybe she shouldn't really have judged Moria Nakunriver's book so quickly. "The Potential Brides have been chosen." The woman announced and started a speech that was usually given at the end of the selection. Belladonna surely wasn't interested in it, no matter how interesting or not it was. Certain that she was now out of the woods, Belladonna looked up at the chosen women. Although she still kept her back bent, making herself look small and almost vanishing in the sea of white.

Hiding the Twins from Their Billionaire Father

Hiding the Twins from Their Billionaire Father

So, while Kara was busy looking for work, Louis and Emily were secretly preparing for the selection. When Susan was busy arranging the books, the toddlers started moving towards the seminar room. Each of them brought a book. Emily with the Cinderella story, while Louis with the automotive book. Unfortunately, as they were about to enter, two women stopped them. "Hello, Kids. What do you need here? Are you lost?" While holding Emily's hand, Louis shook his head firmly. "No. We are here to take part in scholarship selection." The women looked at each other. After one blink, they covered their laughter with one hand. The toddler with sunglasses was not only cute, but also good at talking.

This book is amazing!! I cannot put it down. I disagree with some of the other reviews. I am glad that the story is long because I never want it to end!! Although, I’m only on 159, I love that I can binge read and am more invested with each chapter

Aloof and arrogant CEO meets firecracker Kara. Just started to read and liking their bickering and comedy situations. Has a bit of asian vibes with the unrealistic job demands and super intelligent twins but it's good and looking forward to reading more.

THE ALPHA'S NIGHT OF SIN

THE ALPHA'S NIGHT OF SIN

So this was just a stranger with unfortunate similarities. Grief messing with me. Again. “Dad?” Luca tugged my arm. “You okay? You look… weird.” “I’m fine.” I shook it off. “Let’s go find your brother.” But no matter where I looked, my attention kept drifting back to Selma. The confidence in the way she moved. The way she scanned the area like she knew exactly how kids think. “A boy who loves books wouldn’t go far from places that have them,” she said, pointing at a bookstore. “And once something catches their eye, they tune everything else out.”

THE CHOSEN ONE

THE CHOSEN ONE

But before Scott could answer, a sweet, venomous voice echoed through the flames. “Maybe we should look within our own pack before placing so much trust in a stranger.” Isabela. She stepped into the center as if gliding, each movement calculated to draw attention. And it worked. The black dress clung to her like oil, she’d somehow managed to slip away, change, even shower. The smile she wore… was a blade. “So that’s it? We’re just going to accept the word of a stranger like nothing happened?” She looked around, eyes sparking under the firelight. Some pack members murmured in agreement. A few nodded subtly. I saw it. So did she—and she smiled like she’d just won a prize.

The Last Choice

The Last Choice

"That ring was for you, Grace. Eleanor wouldn't know what to do with it. It'd be wasted on her." So it was never really a choice. Dante put his hand on my shoulder and steered me toward the door. But the moment we hit the ground floor, Grace spotted a new watch display. Dante nodded immediately. "Let's look at watches first. Eleanor can wait. No rush." Grace lingered at the counter, torn between two Patek Philippes. Dante saw her hesitation and waved the salesgirl over. "Take both. Grace, pick the one you want first. Eleanor can have the other one later." He paid and handed me a box. "There. Gift sorted. Grace has good taste—you should be happy."

The Choice of Us

The Choice of Us

I chuckled as the tears continued to fall and the rumble in his chest made me grow comfortable with staying in that position where nothing else mattered. His smile hit me, the blinding light behind it illuminating the lining of the stars in my universe to fall for him. Only intensifying the wanton need I had for him. I knew I should have been upset over blaming myself for thinking I lost his book, but I was glad that this was happening. "Although I loved all his poems . . . there's one that really stood out to me," he said taking the book out of my hands to flip through it. He eventually placed it back into my hands and I'm met with the words THE CHOICE staring back at me.

My dear enemy

My dear enemy

THE BOOK'S SECRET Maya's fingers trembled as she held the book, feeling the strange energy coursing through her veins. She looked up at Elara, her eyes searching for answers. "What do you mean, 'it's begun'?" Maya asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Elara's smile grew wider, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "The book has chosen you, Maya," she said, her voice low and mysterious. "You have been selected to unlock its secrets."

I CHOOSE YOU

I CHOOSE YOU

The selection had ended, and yet Christian could not stop smiling. He approached us, a dazzling grin spread across his face like a man who had just won a kingdom. His entire countenance radiated something unfamiliar—happiness. “Dude, what’s with you?” Jake asked, clearly baffled. “Why are you smiling like that all of a sudden? I thought you couldn’t care less about the selection?” I wasn’t the only one staring at him, clearly perplexed by this sudden shift in mood. We all watched him, silent but demanding answers with our eyes. “In my room,” he said simply, then turned on his heel and led us there. The moment we stepped inside, he shut the door behind us and locked it with a soft cli

The Assistant's Choice.

The Assistant's Choice.

p "Brandon." He smiled, a small, tiny smile, just a quick barely there lift of his lips, but I saw it, and I wanted to see it again. I sighed. "I'll be honest and say, I put off thinking about all of this as much as possible. You have to understand that this isn't normal–I mean, two boys fighting for me? I'm up for that. But two twins who look exactly alike that I've barely known for five weeks asking me to choose between them? On top of that, one them isn't even gay–It's a lot at stake here and I'm not talking about my job–just in general. I really don't want to waste my time, Brandon. This isn't some teen drama." His head fell forward when he nodded.

The Choice of Death

The Choice of Death

It was the conversation I had secretly recorded the last time Trinity had come to the estate. I had made sure to fully charge the phone before I died. I wanted Nathan to hear, loud and clear, the true nature of the woman he had chosen, the woman he had been willing to let me die for. A long silence followed. His fingers trembled as he reached for the letter. He pulled out the paper inside and began reading. I had written down every detail of how I had saved him back then, every part of the story that Trinity could never know. The more Nathan read, the redder his eyes became.
