The Silent Man Book Novels & Stories

Bursting into tears, Mary hugged me tightly, and at that moment, I found myself wondering… Would Scott cry for me like this at my funeral? Would he regret everything he ever did to me? - During a thunderstorm, I fainted at home. My heart couldn't supply enough blood, after all, so my body was already fragile to begin with. When the ambulance arrived, I thought I saw a familiar figure through my hazy vision. He pleaded in a trembling voice, as if he was going to cry, "Don't fall asleep, Wendy! Please don't fall asleep!" Those words sounded familiar. Back when I first took a bullet for this man overseas, he had cried just like this, begging me not to lose consciousness.

Grant’s POV I’ve never trusted silence. It’s the sound wolves make before the kill. The manor’s been quiet ever since the boy tore the sky apart. Too quiet. The kind of quiet that sinks its claws into your thoughts and makes you feel watched even when you’re alone. Vera says it’s peace. She says the house finally learned to breathe again after everything that happened. But I know better. Peace doesn’t feel like this. Peace doesn’t hum beneath your skin like static waiting to bite.

** **Did I come too early? He asked himself, ignoring the chalk lines like a habit and walking closer to the house. He was just going to take a peep. Yet, it all happened so fast. His ears that had been as sharp as always picked up the approaching sound from the side of the house. If only he had paid more attention to the difference in the smell and hadn't waved it off with the excitement that it could be the boy. The man figure appeared in front of him, not giving him a second to react, a tranquilizer was pointed in his direction and he was gone from the first shot.

Dropping the books on the shelf. We went into an inconspicuous room on the ground floor. I followed behind Liam into the dimly lit room, my curiosity piqued. The door creaked shut behind us, enveloping us into an eerie silence. The silence was soon broken by a muffling sound. As I adjusted my eyes to the faint light, I saw him. A man bound on his knees, his ankles and hands secured. His eyes, wide with fear, darted between Liam and me.

Will she achieve her goal or become a pawn in his sick world? Once again, you have been warned and can turn back if you are uncomfortable with the warning. Welcome to The Silent Stalker!

“I am sorry, I was just trying to keep you from murdering someone in public.” His expression shifted - dark, unreadable. His eyes trailed across my face, lingering on my lips. Then his hand reached up, fingertips grazing my cheek. He always wore the same damn expression. Blank, unmoved, like nothing in this world could touch him. But somehow, in the silence and the stillness, he made sure I and everyone else felt it all - the cold, the control, the darkness wrapped beneath his skin.

"Come on, we can--" Before I can finish, I stop when I see the smoke clearing away. There, lying on the ground right in front of us, hidden at first because of the smoke, is a man. The man appears to be wearing some sort of weird, black and brown armor, with a large belt with a dozen pouches. He also is wearing a white mask with red eyes. "A white mask," I think, "Red eyes? Guys, this is Silent!" "Silent," SpeedBlade repeats, looking at the downed man. Silent isn't unconscious but he seems to be hurt. He's holding his arm.

Grabbing the black 9mm gun slowly making sure the person behind him wouldn't notice, he got off the stool and turned around so fast holding it in front of him and realising the safety. Her eyes went wide, her feet froze. Was he going to shoot her, she opened her lips to say something but nothing could come out. Her palms had started to sweat, as her blue eyes locked with his chocolate ones. Marco let out a sigh of relief before undoing the safety and placing the gun back on the counter. "I thought it was some one else " he spoke up closing his laptop, his eyes watching the mysterious woman. Her brown messy hair, falling down her shoulders, her blue dot eyes sparking like the waters of the se

Sending love and well wishes to you all xx A trail of water dripped behind Bellamy as he emerged from the shower, a towel hung loosely around his waist as he ruffled another towel through his now damp curls. “Whatcha reading gorgeous?” he nodded to Thea. Placing an intricately carved silver bookmark in between the pages, she placed her book down on the bedside table. Letting out a contented sigh, she stretched her arms and legs out on the bed. “It’s called ‘Her Fae Lovers’ by one of my favourite authors, Jane Knight.” A sleepy smile danced across her face as she dragged her eyes over Bellamy’s wet, exposed torso. Little pearls of water clung to his taught, tanned skin making him glisten unde

But he gave nothing away, standing there in eerie silence, his face a blank canvas beneath the layers of black. The man didn’t respond immediately, and the silence that hung between us felt heavy, charged with unspoken tension. Every second felt like an eternity, the room growing colder as the air thickened with anticipation. My instincts were on high alert, my mind racing through possible scenarios and outcomes. I couldn’t shake the feeling that this man was here for a reason, and that reason likely wasn’t good.
