Falling Stardust

Falling Stardust

A bit longer and it would have run out of energy completely. Ryan ignored it and continued compressing the pyramid even more until it was but a few hundred meters. The pyramid exploded and sand went everywhere. The sparrow turned itself into a ball of lightning and started melting the sand from within the pyramid. By the time Ryan Realised it was too late. The sparrow had already burst out of the pyramid and was flying straight at him.

The Songbird

The Songbird

“I sure as hell wouldn’t be fine if I walked through that not only once but twice. Take your time.” “There is no time.” She said as she swallowed really hard. “We need to drain the pond.” “I know.” He said softly. “Tom is calling it in right now.” “Okay.” She said as she looked back towards the water. “I have to ask, though. How many were there?” he asked. “Nineteen that I could see as I passed by. Abersom, they went to the other side of the water.” Sara said. “Holy hell.” He said as he looked at her. “Take your time, sweetheart. I have a feeling it is going to be a long night.”

Skylark Soars High

"Okay." I heard myself say, "Whatever you say, Don Gray." ... Half an hour later, I locked the bathroom door, turned on the tap, and let the sound of running water fill the space. I pulled out a mini communicator, no bigger than a coin, from a hidden compartment in the inconspicuous jewelry box. This was my last resort.

The Pack's Rebels

The Pack's Rebels

There had been a few that seemed to stay near the ship during the journey, but no where near as many as he knew her flock was. “No, it’s nesting season,” she explained. “I cannot disrupt their natural cycles, or I would soon have no familiars left. Sparrows are not immortal. The flock does grow, with new sparrows joining, as well and new births, but it also thins as they grow old and die. So, most have remained behind to begin the next generation, and I only have those with me who are more adventurous,” she smiled a little as she said it. “They all have personalities,” she explained when he raised an eyebrow. “They are all distinct to me. Maybe not to the extent of having names, but I recogn

My Springtime

My Springtime

Sutburg was filled with flowers in spring, petals flying toward us in the wind, pink, white, and many other colors. Some flowers landed on my shoulder, and I thought to myself that I had made it through winter. And finally, my spring was here.

The Silver Wolf

The Silver Wolf

I wondered. “Nowadays, sparrows are believed to symbolize joy, community, teamwork, protection, simplicity, hard work, or self-worth. This hasn't always been the case, however. In Europe's Middle Ages, sparrows were believed to represent peasants and the lower class. In old Celtic tradition, sparrows were thought to be keepers of ancestral knowledge.” I became engrossed by her words and dared not interrupt her.

For a beginner, you did very well. kept the interest and attention of going on to the next chapter. there were some mistakes but none that can't be fixed. other than that I thought it was a great story. however, the chapters could've been a smidge longer for how much they cost. job well done!...

Spark's Gone

Spark's Gone

"Girl, we all know you are the wildest among of us!" "That was before, More. I think I became less active when I gave birth to Uno." "Do you still feel the sparks?" Haponesa asked. "Yup. The spark is still there. But even though we both want the fun, we are also both tired. He's tired from work while me from babysitting Uno." "Is there any difference? Did something change?" "Like?" I asked back. "Like you guys are distant since you're no longer intimate with each other."

The Spitfire

Now she has me seeing conspiracies around every corner. "Mouth, your ass belongs on a macadamia ranch." "What's that?" "A damn nut farm." She snorted and made me laugh. The sound was so foreign coming from my little spitfire. "I love you Shane." She put her head on my shoulder and sighed and everything in me melted into a puddle at her feet. Fuck my life. "I love you too baby." I kissed her temple and wrapped an arm around her while the two of us sat on the grass in the garden and discussed the best flowers to attract birds and butterflies. Yep, straight fucking nuts.

Two Can Play

Two Can Play

SCARLETT I stood behind Tasha with my hands clasped in front of me, and no matter how hard I blinked, the tears would not stop gathering. Sparrow stood a few paces away in a suit so sharp it looked like it had been sewn onto his bones, and he was staring straight at me. His eyes had found mine and they were not letting go, and I felt a smile pull at my mouth before I could stop it.

FYI 1)chapters only 4-5pages 2) 20-30-40++ chapters on same event but each character POV (not only male/female lead) so gets dragged on & muddled when same event rehash..it is my 1st book of this author so I would like to respect that this is due to writing style..I like more of condensed stories..

I’m only here for the comments, I quit reading at chap 458. I’m just trying to see the fate of Celeste, Dominic, Julian, Seraphine. I’m not into the other characters. I’m hoping for a HEA for Celeste n Dominic. I want to know what became of Seraphine and all that sexing, drugs, money. Julian karma?

Falling for my Fae Captor

Falling for my Fae Captor

I looked at the men around me, and they didn't acknowledge it in the slightest. I watched a little sparrow land on a branch. "I want to see her closer," I heard a voice announce, and it shockingly matched the beak movement of the little sparrow. It practically sang the words along with its birdsong. Narrowing my eyes, I looked around us. My eyes settled on a little chipmunk holding a scrap of food from Ragnar's pack. "The big one is slow," the chipmunk jeered, mouth moving exactly with the words I was hearing.
