Shrugged, she answered, "That's the downfall of this spell. It hides you well, but you can't control who or what returns with you. This is only my second time using it. I was gone for 16 hours the first time." Bright-eyed, I gushed, "What'd you do?" "Nothing. Your body can't go, only the soul. So I was pretty much dead, but something horrific returned with me." "Sixteen hours? "What made you stay so long?" "The length of time you're there is out of your control." "Huh? How long were we gone?" "About 23 minutes. We lucked out." "Thankfully! That was reckless, Ellie. We need a better spell for next time."

I huffed. Amy shoved me. I became concerned at how weak she was. “Show some respect. Anastasia is my mentor, Kane. In fact, she may well be our ticket out of here. Trust me. I think I can remember how the spell works.” “You’ve lost me. To do what?” Her reply was enough to set me reeling. “Turn back time, of course.”

"... Rick....trol....*cough out blood while saying the words* Mut....etai..." I struggled to cast my spell. " HIKARU!!" I could hear someone in the distance screaming my name as I said the last word of my spell. "...Bomount!" A blue clock appears on my chest turning back the time on my body. All the blood flows back into my body as my bones snap back into place. I healed just in time to roll out of the way of the creature. " *Sigh* That was close. " I muttered to myself as I watched the creature charging down the tunnel. It'll turn back!! I better get out of here!! I thought as I stood up just to come face to face with an extremely shocked Cynthia. Fu*k!! Did she see me use it?!

Not back at Cass’ I pull back. “I told you she would be fine.” “Grandma.” “I sweetie. How are you feeling?” “Fine-but. How did we?” “When you touched me earlier, I pulled you here and then you interfered with the spell and got knocked out. You should know even in a dream-like state spells can still affect you since they don’t follow the normal laws of physics and time.” “I’m sorry I should have been more careful, but that spell. What is it?” “It’s an advanced locator spell. It uses the mate bond to find the mate. It’s not recommended, but we were desperate.”

The witch explained, "I might have saved you once, but I might not be there next time, dear. Here, let me..." So said, the witch turned and dived into the messy shelves, looking for something. Kitty didn't dare to disturb so she just stayed where she was, waiting. "Here, my child. This was a relic from the Greats, they are the greatest witches and wizards from ancient times, way before me." The witch handed Kitty a dusty old paintbrush, "Well, I said 'was' because it's broken now. There's no magic left in it, and it's no use to a witch now. But it WAS left with a protection spell. Take this with you, and it will protect you, exactly once, because once the spell is broken, it will be just a p

She wasn’t quite sure this guy was normal; it seemed like he had a few screws loose. She sighed and looked up at him, “It's okay, I guess.” Angelo smiled, “Would you travel back in time to make a new future, a new destiny?” Jenna smiled at the thought, and that was all it took; suddenly, the room began to spin, and the clock rang out, ding, ding, ding.

I didn't know where I was but I noticed the houses seemed to have changed, I knew I wasn't hallucinating. Inside of me was unstable as my mind kept trying to collect what had happened, but I didn't want to recall the incident, what I had done, what I had let happen, and the power that got unleashed once again. My hands got cold and my calm breathing began to grow harsh again, as I knelt holding my chest. The image of Jeffrey was stuck in my head, at some point it went blank …. I couldn't believe it, but it wasn't there any longer. I had fainted the moment I felt the control of the spell letting go and slipping away. The last thing I could remember was their faces.

and how would I go back to my own world? *"Kaia..."* "Huh?" I abruptly turned around at the distant and vague sound of name being called, "Kaia? What's wrong?" Cassiopeia asks with a worried look on her face. "I think I just heard someone call me," *"KAIA!"* "There it is again! Can’t you hear it?" I turned to look at the couple with me and my eyes widened as they began to slowly fade away. "Cassiopeia? Alexander?" their words began to sound muffled as they became blurry every second. "What's happening?" I started to panic but all I could do was to reach out to them until they faded into nothing.

asked Jeff confusedly. "The connection is maybe from one of your paintings there is a magic painting that can take them to their country," Regina replied, she wished Jeff had a magic painting. ""I don't have a painting like that, ma'am, Scarlett. If someone's soul is exchanged and they want to go back to the past, then they must have a magic spell to be able to open the passage of time," Jeff explained. "Do you have that magic spell, Jeff?" Scarlett's turn to ask, she leaned forward and brought her face closer to Jeff's.

Jess wished she were standing closer to Caine but reluctantly took Kiaan and Damien's clammy hands when they reached out to her. "Say these words three times," Damien ordered. “Shadows lurking in the night, I summon you, come to us tonight. Give us the revenge we seek, Twist the strong and make them weak. I call on you to make this spell magick, so mote it be." After the third iteration, Jess looked about the room and noticed the others doing the same. Brows raised, Kiaan asked, "Is something supposed to happen?" "Not now," Damien assured him. "But it will. Trust me."
