The cursed alpha's dirty secret

The cursed alpha's dirty secret

His grand horns caught the light as he lowered himself into a chair across from us. “Thorne brought back fresh herbs from the deep woods,” he rumbled. “Says the wilds feel… normal now. No old shadows.” Wren joined us last, carrying a small bundle of newly copied scrolls. The emerald threads in his silver eye had softened into gentle, glowing patterns that spoke of hard-won peace. “The futures are steady today,” he said. “No storms. Only long, quiet seasons ahead.” We spent the afternoon together in the library, sorting through old records and sharing memories. The bond between us had grown into something deeper than passion or even memory a constant, golden-emerald undercurrent that simply h

Shift

I adjusted my backpack and headed up the extensive stairs that were in front of the large library. It was the biggest building in the area, and it held most of the pack’s history from the time the pack was founded. There weren’t just the normal books that you would see in a non-shifter library but a bunch of magical tomes as well. It was still pretty early but the librarian I knew opened at 6:00 a.m. for the local college kids who needed to prep for their early classes. Slipping in, there was a college aged she-wolf sitting at front desk. Leaning forward, I smiled at her.

I was debating on giving it 4 stars because there is a lot of spelling errors. There is also a dead point but around chapter 70 it picks up speed fast. It definitely keeps you hooked with all the twists and turns. Great story line. Abrupt ending but I hope a sequel has started

I LOVED Sky’s story! Such an incredible read!!! I wish we heard where her friends/bandmates ended up but still. Praying for a second to see what happens with Heath and how Ethan (and hopefully Justin) deal with all that will be thrown at them!

The Mark You Hide

The Mark You Hide

“Keep her calm. Don’t tell her anything that makes her loud.” Wren’s nostrils flare, annoyed. “She’s not calm by nature.” “No,” I agree. “She’s not.” Wren turns to leave, then pauses at the door. “If the council asks for her, what will you do?” I answer without hesitation. “They won’t ask.” Wren’s look says she doesn’t believe me. She leaves anyway. I open the office door and step into the hall. Two pack members stand near the library alcove. They stop talking the instant they see me, but the words hang in the air like smoke. I caught enough.

Once An Overlooked Housewife, Now A Queen Of Fortune

Once An Overlooked Housewife, Now A Queen Of Fortune

“Are you a friend of William’s or do you work together” “Both.” Dean waited for her to elaborate, but when she, he tried again. “What do you do?” “Architecture.” “Interesting. What kind of…” “Excuse me,” Wren interrupted, spotting an escape route. “I need to help with something.” She excused herself from him and went into the lichen area where the catering staff was busy replenishing trays. She didn’t actually need to help with anything. The problem was that in this rented penthouse, while large, wasn’t infinite. There were only so many places to exist, and Dean seemed determined to find her in all of them. Good thing Kael had also seen Dean trying to follow her. This was why she wasn’t real

My Ex's Brother: Forbidden desires

My Ex's Brother: Forbidden desires

I asked her, and she wouldn't say anything, but her eyes would turn glassy. There are four rooms here. Two of which I have access to, and two of which my mother forbade me from entering. I come out through a short flight of stairs that—to normal passersby—is connected to a six-story apartment across the road. Within five minutes, I am entering the old library. "Evening, Trinity," I greet the old librarian, who is sitting in an armchair behind a table, reading a human book—Twilight. It's funny how they thought we were non-existent until we weren't.

“Come on, let’s go somewhere you can take your mind off this. Some fresh air and the smell of old books will help you relax; trust me. I’m sure the boys can take care of things on their own.” Reluctantly, I allowed her to lead us out of the infirmary and towards a part of Whitestone I had never been to. For the first time since my arrival here, I was getting to see what the neutral lands really looked and felt like. Too bad it wasn’t on a good day. Janine led us to a building, which I soon realized was a library. “This is Monestra Library.” She announced proudly, keeping her voice to a low whisper. “It’s the biggest library in the werewolf community, the oldest and most comprehensive.

Between the Alpha and the Rogue, Fated to Choose Only One

Laura agreed as well. Mozart nodded and directed her gaze to Maria. “We should be leaving soon. The earlier, the better.” Before Reynolds could give a response, his beta, Gareth walked into the room, seeking his attention. “The alpha from the north is here,” Gareth whispered to him. Reynolds pulled Gareth aside and they walked out of the room. “Where is he?” “He's waiting at the library.” Reynolds headed there and Gareth trailed behind him. He reached the library to find Triton standing with a book in his hand. The library was a wide stretch of space, with books arranged in the shelves, books that were rarely touched.

The sound of water gently lapping against the shelves provided a soothing ambiance, creating a serene atmosphere that encouraged deep contemplation and study. As they ventured deeper into the library, Tritan, Finrir, Nerissa, Madissa, Bryan, and Joe found themselves surrounded by rows upon rows of books. The sheer volume of knowledge contained within those pages was awe-inspiring. Each book seemed to hold the answers to countless mysteries, waiting to be discovered by those who sought enlightenment.

Teach Me How To Burn

Teach Me How To Burn

What was this bitchy clingy attitude. --- By third period, I was still vibrating. She hadn’t texted. Hadn’t even looked at me in the hall. And yeah, maybe I could’ve ignored it. brushed it off, laughed it away like I did every other time someone got too close. But this was Wren. My Wren. My lil birdie. And she was slipping away. So I found her. Outside the library, just after the bell rang, while the hall buzzed with people rushing to class. She was walking with her books hugged to her chest, looking unfairly gorgeous in her mini dress and oversized hoodie.

Tribute to the Alpha

Tribute to the Alpha

"One of the best ones, my lady. Would you like to see?" "I can?" "Of course, please come along." The oak-panelled door opened onto the biggest library she had ever seen. Row after row of neatly lined up books with their spines facing outward, colour coded with dots, for different sections arranged in alphabetical order adorned the shelves. Their library itself extended up to three levels with spiral staircases. "I would like to read about werewolves," Rhiannon said. Arios smiled," certainly my lady." ********** Rhiannon had been reading for probably hours, she didnt realize how long.

Wonderful Story! Direct, short, but meaningful. No unnecessary events just to drag the story and lengthen it for extra coins… Kudos and Congratulations Dear Author! Looking forward to more of your books. Just improve the editing next time to make it better.

I loved this book! I enjoyed the storyline and the plot was solid. The character development drew me in and made me fall in love with and despise the different characters. I would recommend this book. Thank you for sharing your beautiful imagination!
