Tahimik lang kami habang nakatingala naman siya sa kalangitan. "I miss to see them..." "Ha?" medyo curious ako sa sinabi niya. "I mean, the stars..." turo pa ni Flinn sa itaas. Napatingala rin ako sa sandaling iyon saka tiningnan ang mga constellations na nandoon.

Unti-unti nang nagpapakita ang buwan ng muli akong magdilat nang mata. Ang maliliit at kumukuti-kutitap na mga bituin ang nagpangiti sa akin. There's a lot of things that can prove that 'even the most beautiful thing hides a thousand flaws'. Not only the ocean, or me. Look at the moon. I used to admire it coz it seems so perfectly bright but the truth is, it is only borrowing light from the sun. And the stars, they are not twinkling. They only appeared to be one but it's just our atmosphere.

I like flowers but I cannot appreciate them because it's dark. Nakahinga na ako ng maluwag. Hindi pa ako kumakain dahil hindi ako nakaramdam ng gutom. The place is a bit dark but enough that I can see everything. Tumingala ako sa kalangitan. The moon and the stars are brightly shinning above. Hindi ko alam kung kailan ko huling tumingala sa kalangitan para tingnan ang mga bituin. I always do this before when I am sad and lonely. I always watch the dark sky and the stars glimmering at night.

She looked at the sky and stared at the stars. “Are you looking at the stars?” biglang tanong ni Aiden sa kanya na siyang ikinalingon niya rito. Tipid siyang ngumiti kahit na hindi ito nililingon. “They’re mesmerizing. Too bad they’re not stars. They’re rocks.” Science mesmerize her sometimes. Yet it ruins the world they once lived and believe it. She used to think that those twinkling in the skies are stars, but they’re rocks. And a shooting star doesn’t make your wish come true.

I fixed my gaze on a star twinkling not far from their direction. "Every... Everyone likes them. They are the prettiest," Phinea whispered. I laughed, causing her to look at me. "Then I'm not like everyone else. I like stars, and it doesn't matter to me who's prettier or the brightest." She asked me why. I looked at her and smiled. "They're prettier when there are many of them." I pointed to the sea where the stars were visible. Phinea paused when she looked at the sea.

Agad na dumiretso ako sa kwarto, marahan kong inilapag sa bedside table ang libro at bag ko tsaka parang batang lumundag sa kama. Ngayon ko lang naramdaman ang ganitong klase ng saya. Sayang walang oobra kahit anong negativity pa iyan. Napatingala ako sa kisame. Pakiramdam ko na naman ay merong nagkikislapang bituin doon. Ang gandang pagmasdan. Hindi naman na niya inulit ang kaniyang ginawa at natahimik na lang bigla, pero ang ngiti ay nakaguhit pa rin sa kaniyang labi. Inilibot ko na lang ang aking tingin at pagkatapos ay napatingala. Napakaganda talaga ng kalangitan. It was filled with stars, like scattered jewels across the heavens, while the moon was half-peeking out, just enough to guide our way.

"Even in the dark, my heart sees your beauty." Their sweet chuckles blended with the sounds of waves giving them salty wind on their dried from the sun skin. The sky was dotted with shining stars almost as bright as Thalia's eyes. Simon leaned to kiss her more on her blushing cheeks from basking under the sun during the daylight. The fire on their bonfire was dancing gracefully cloaking them with enough heat during the chilly night. The flame makes them shadows of two people kissing under the night sky, with thousands of stars witnessing their love and zephyr like touches as the time goes by almost unnoticed.
