Valkyrie Names Novels & Stories

She looked at him angrily. “I am not who you think I am. My name is Maxine Croftfire and I am the captain of The Life. I am a Valkyrie,” she said. “Smart try,” William said, laughing. “The only thing is, we know too well that Valkyries don’t exist any longer and also…”

I asked, not wanting to waste time. “Demon-Valkyrie.” “I’d like to think she’s more Valkyrie than Demon if I’m to be protecting her.” “Valmon,” he said with a thoughtful look and shook his head. “It just doesn’t sound right. Dakyrie sounds better, plus she did catch fire.” “As usual, you’re more work than help, Marcus,” I said as I glanced at the sleeping female.

"What else did you get?" "I haven't heard much from their conversation," Ares said which almost made Damien sigh heavily. But what Ares said next made Damien's face harden. "However, they seem to be waiting for your arrival, my lord." "They're waiting for me?" "Right. They said something about the Valkyrie too." "Valkyrie?" now it was Reinhard who spoke. "Who is that?" "Not who, but what," Damien replied. "Valkyrie is an emergency order issued by the kingdom in case someone is proven treasonous."

Because in my eyes, she is perfect. Looking at her now and the dragon that lives inside her, I realized that. "Hello, mate," her dragon breathes, its gaze straight towards me I gulp. "Hello," I managed, thanking the goddess I didn't produce anything close to a squeak. It leans forward and instinctively, I step back. Ava smiles and giggles as she watches my reaction. My eyes darting to her. "Her name is Valkerie," I shift my gaze, looking back at the dragon.

he said while snorting and pointed his sword at Val. “No. You are Vanjoss! Can’t you remember me? It’s me, Valkyrie!” Val shouted and felt strange when she uttered her name. The name she buried along with the memories of Vanjoss. When he died protecting her, she lost herself. It’s like part of her was dead. With the help of her sisters, she slowly returns to her old self, but she has to forget all the memories with Vanjoss for her to keep on living like she promised to him. And that included her name. She didn’t let anyone call her Valkyrie, not even her sister and mother, except Vanjoss. Because she will just remember those horrible memories.

Kael held the door and they moved out into the dark toward Elder Lysara's chambers without another word, and Zara watched them go with the hybrid's dragging feet leaving two pale lines in the dirt. She turned back to the room. Valkyrie had shifted back and was standing in the wreckage in a borrowed shirt, rotating her shoulder with a focused expression that suggested it hurt considerably more than she was acknowledging. "The last one," Zara said. "The one we brought to Lysara before. It was strong." "Yes," Valkyrie said. "This one was ten times stronger." "Yes." "That's a pattern." Valkyrie looked at her. "What are you thinking?"

“Aww, that sucks!” I laugh at her, putout expression, and pull her back into my embrace. Unfortunately, we’re so caught up in our greeting that we don’t notice my men's silence until a loud female cough interrupts our musings. Val and I both turn to face Maleah, who is standing near the doorway with a scowl. Val gives her a curious look as she approaches. “Hi, I’m Valkyrie. You must be Maleah?” She asks, extending her hand in greeting. Maleah eyes her hand, hesitantly takes it, then coldly replies, “Yeah, I’m Maleah,” I frown at her cold tone as she releases Val’s hand and strides into the room.

Valerie “Come with me.” Those three words from Lady Juliet are all it takes. I place my baby down on the bed and trail after her with mild difficulty, taking deep breaths along the way. She wades through the hallways, acknowledging greetings from guards stationed everywhere. I follow her into an elevator, trying to ignore the way my heart slams rapidly against my chest. “What’s your name?” she asks all of a sudden. “Valerie.” “Valerie.” The name rolls off her tongue, like she’s trying to savor and keep it in her memory forever. “Warrior Lyon is the one who holds the forte on the borders. If he dies, the army will be destabilized. He’s important to Ashville.”

He corrected her with a straight face. The little girl pursed her lips together and she tried to pronounce his name."Vance." She mumbled. "Your name is weird." She said which Vance didn't like. "Yours is weirder, Angel." It seemed like they wanted to fight, and just moments ago, they were excited about seeing each other. "My name is not Angel. My mum and daddy Sky just love calling me their angel. My name is Valeria, and it rhymes with Vance." She replied in a childish voice. It was just a coincidence that their names both started with V.
