Diana sat in the lounge chair, hugging her knees close to her chest. A small, hitching sigh wracked throughout her. She inspected her hand for the thousandth time, peering at those crescent-shaped marks that Hecate's touch had left on her skin. They looked like tiny tattoos, drawn with black lines and resembling little moons. She had one on the inside of her wrist, another on that soft part beneath her thumb, and another right in the middle of her palm.

Their family was on the brink of bankruptcy. Meanwhile, Chase's mini-empire was also crumbling due to his feud with our family. Lucille still brought him back to the Gervais family. When her father saw him, I heard he immediately shot him in the chest. His injury was way worse this time. Due to overwhelming grief, Lucille lost a lot of blood during childbirth, and her baby didn't survive. In the aftermath of such sorrow, the Gervais family took their anger out on Chase. I heard he was taken back to the Gervais family and severely beaten. In the end, he succumbed to his fatal injuries.

I looked at my arm, which was growing pale, with my green and violet veins prominently visible. Glancing at the clock as I passed by, I realized it was already morning, and I needed to hurry home.

I put my hand on my forehead and waited for everything to stop moving. The black veins caught my eye. They were worse. So much worse. Yesterday, they had only been on my hands and wrists, creeping up my arms like dark little rivers under my skin. Now they had spread past my elbows. I placed one hand on the mid column of my neck trying to stop the uncomfortable feeling. I looked at my reflection on the mirror of the dresser opposite to my bed. My skin turned paler than a white paper. Blue veins were prominent . My irises were deep crimson red. My canines extended not in wolf teeth but vampire's. It had been a long time since I had blood.

His eyes turned completely red as he savored his own blood. The red veins began to disperse and Lincoln darted his eyes around. He couldn't believe his blood would help him but the problem was.... He couldn't continue to feed on himself whenever the veins pop out, he might die... It might lead to his death! He swallowed hard in worry, he let out a deep breath to catch his breath. His heart racing faster, vampires heart beats faster than humans.. . . . . .West sighed as she slowly climbed into her bed, she damped them quit around her as she lay on her side, using her elbow to support her head.

I followed one black blot as it moved towards the wound and watched it appear as a blob of fluid, black and red, like a drop of dirty blood, the size of a marble.
