Vanessa Brooks Blade Novels & Stories

K A E L O R Nyxara stands between us, the knife still in her hand. The blade hangs at her side, but she hasn’t let it go. Darek is right behind her, close enough that his shadow spills over her shoulder and stretches across the ground at her feet.

Damian squirmed weakly, his wolf shrinking under the weight of my aura. He was finished, he knew it and we all knew it. The forest held its breath. One blow, one final strike. And this nightmare would be over. I pulled my arm back. “JORDAN, NO!” Vanessa stepped between us and my entire body froze. Vanessa stood right in front of me, her chest heaving, her arm outstretched as if she could stop me with nothing but a plea. Her eyes goddess, her eyes, burned with fear, anger, heartbreak.

His face grim, Colin snorted, "Where did you find this actor? His acting skills are pretty convincing. But no, this won't work. You abused Joyce's cat. We were just gonna let it slide if you apologized to her, but you're too stubborn. Get over here, or you'll never get a glance from me again." At such a point, he was still trying to frame me. I glared at him and looked at my bloody hands from his stomps. I had a knack for painting. With Lauren's support, I never gave up. Once, I beat another girl in a competition, and she came after me. Colin stepped in like a fierce protector. Now he was the one hurting me most. I looked away, refusing to move. His patience wearing thin, he growled, "Come o

"Diego, I want to end this." I nod, pride swelling in my chest. "Do it, Mama." Vanessa steps forward, twirling the knife in her hand. Celeste's eyes widen in fear, but she remains silent. Vanessa presses the tip of the knife against her chest beneath her sternum. Celeste's gasps, her voice barely above a whisper. "P-Please..." "Let's find out if you really do have a heart," Vanessa muses, pushing the blade further in. Celeste's body begins to tremble with what I imagine to be unbearable pain.

"I expected you ten minutes ago." She looked up. Her eyes were electric blue. "And you brought the waitress," she smiled at me. "How charming. A family reunion." She stood up. She placed the knife against Sarah's throat. "Drop the guns," Vanessa said. "Or the girl bleeds."

Blade was amused that a single woman managed to take down three grown men, two of whom lay lifeless on the pavement. Tech was captivated. "I am getting more of a Black Widow vibe from her." "I beg you, please don't, ahh," his words were cut short by her digging her knife into his stomach. She stared into his eyes like she dared the man's soul to remain attached to its chosen body. The longer I watched her, the more I felt "Intrigued." She pulled out her phone taking a picture. "Damn, that's tough," Reaper was also impressed.

I turned and saw Vanessa standing in the doorway, breathless, her hair half undone. A dagger sat in her hand. Not just any dagger. The dagger crafted to kill a white wolf. To kill Piper. Her eyes darted between Jaimie and I. She looked bewildered. "Jaimie? You're... you're..." She didn't finish the sentence only bringing the knife higher. “Get off him!" She yelled at me. “Now!" I looked at Jaimie, a message quickly and silently shared between us. He walked over to Vanessa and with swift and expert skill, disarmed her so that she was now standing confused and weaponless.

BLADE 2. He forced his tongue into my mouth and pinned my two hands roughly on the bed. He doesn't allow me move. I wiggled my body but he ended up hitting my boobs with his palm. The pain sent the wrong sensation down my pussy. It throbbed shamelessly. He stopped kissing me and before I knew it, I landed a slap on his cheek which I regret doing. His demeanor changed instantly. I presume it didn't sit well with him.

Brooke pumped and fired again without hesitation, walking the spread along the limb until it recoiled. “Reloading!” she called, already feeding the next shell. “Blade—now!” Gabe shouted. Demonslayer came down in a clean arc and sheared another jaw away. No one paused. No one introduced themselves. The blonde worked with controlled economy. Baton leverage, knife placement, timing. She redirected a living coil into a mooring post, crushed the mouth against iron, then shut it down in two movements. When a ferry passenger slipped toward open water, she caught him by the jacket and turned him aside without breaking rhythm.

And just as Damian pulled me toward the door, Vanessa let out a furious cry and lunged straight at me one last time— Her blade shining under the lights as she aimed for my throat.
