My heart pounded like it was about to explode from my chest. Callista chuckled and slung an arm around me. “It’s not a movie. These are real vampires and werewolves. Here at Eclipse Academy, we have five types of supernatural beings: Werewolves, Vampires, Incubi, Dragons, Ghouls, and Witches,” she said matter-of-factly. I shook my head. This couldn’t be real. Why the hell was I in a school full of monsters? “Please tell me this is an illusion,” I said, my voice trembling.

“It worked. I can’t smell you.” “I feel… weird,” I admitted. “But also… kind of strong.” “You should. That spell lasts as long as you want it to. Break it, and you’ll be you again.” “Thank you,” I told the witch, who was now rummaging through her things. “Pleasure doing business,” she said. “Oh, and don’t get caught. I don’t do refunds.” We laughed. Kind of. Michelle escorted me to the borders of Clawstone Academy, our twin academy just for boys.

Her movements were graceful, clearly well-practiced. Witches at the Royal Academy were trained to deal with the royal family, as my father could call on any one of them for advising or other jobs at any moment. Usually, though, they stayed in their tower at the center of the pack and were only seen outside on official Academy business. Everyone recognized their blue robes. Some of the pack kids started rumors that the witches were up to something, perhaps communing with demons, but everyone knew that wasn’t true. They devoted their lives to worshipping the Gods and studying the arcane, and while they couldn’t shift and had no wolves, some would argue that the magical abilities granted to the

•Serena's POV• The Academy of Dark Arts. The Academy was made out of dark stone. Aged bricks bearing the weight of the massive structure. The long yards of plush white carpeting, overlaid by Tibetan rugs clashed with the newly designed crystal chandeliers. The Academy also had a prison where guilty witches and warlocks await their punishment. They were to serve us and make us more powerful and dominant over every other pack in the realm.

Set apart from civilization on the top of an obscure mountain and protected by powerful spells and wards that prevented free entry and exit, the coven seemed more like a prison than an academy for witches. The witches were ranked in four orders. The Novitiate, the newbies, dressed in grey robes, the Veteran, seasoned witches, the category I fell in, dressed in red robes, the Superiors dressed in green robes, while the Elders were immaculate in their white robes. Each had their own functions and roles that kept the academy rolling.

They shared knowing glances at each other before walking into the building. "What is this place?" Nicodemus asked while he took proper view of the interior. He could pick multiple scents of Wolves and Witches,he was also certain there are Vampires in this large building. They took him to to another large room filled with couches. "This place is an Academy. The Dark Arts Academy for Witches,Vampires and Werewolves." Sabrina answered while they all sat comfortably on different couches. "Dark Arts Academy...." He muttered to himself. In a way,the name seemed to captivate him. "Why are there no rooms for Hybrids?."

I wonder as I try to pull away again but to no avail. "I'm sorry. "I whisper before saying the incantation that releases his hand and throws him across the lawn; he hits the grass as I run to the door, another growl sounding out, but this time no screams follow. I twist the handle frantically. Mom, grandma, where are you? The door is closed, and it does not budge. I step back, take a deep breath, and whisper another spell to open the door, but it repels, striking me; I stumble back before regaining my footing. That is right because all werewolves have their witches who protect them. I grunt, feeling the side effects of the repelled spell. The growl sounds again as I start pounding on the doo

What a weird name? Should I accept it or not? What if it’s a scam? Or a trap from my enemies? But do I have a choice? "I won't call them bodies. They're pieces," Elizabeth said. The fog began to clear and the academy was clear in view. It was so beautiful, as I expected, a castle with grey stones. "Welcome to Witch Academy," A deep voice said. All eyes turned to him. A tall man with a light beard and a dark Navy blue suit greeted us.
