Wolves Notes Novels & Stories

A rustle of snow. A shadow moved. Then— A lone wolf stepped out of the darkness. Massive. Black fur. Eyes glowing silver. Rylan stiffened instantly. “Not possible.” Kade swore. “That can’t be—” Lyra’s heartbeat tripped. The wolf lowered its head… in a bow. “What is that?” she whispered. Rylan’s voice was barely human. “A sentinel.” Lyra’s breath caught. Sentinels were ancient wolves said to serve only one bloodline—one house. A house believed extinct.

I wondered if I had any markings on my face. Then I remembered there was a lake nearby! I could go there and see my reflection. My father watched me for a moment and I saw him give me a slight nod. That was all I needed. I began to run from the circle, running out of the pack's encampment. As I ran, I marveled at all the new sensations I could feel in this form. The earth beneath my paws felt amazing, the wind in my fur was incredible. So lost in all the sensations, I didn't realize that I had been followed by another wolf. I looked over, instantly realizing the wolf was Greyson. His wolf was almost as large as my father's, however while my father was black, Greyson was a dark grey and his e

I suppose being a wolf their sense of smell must be enhanced, like with elves and our sense of hearing. And speaking of smells, Alpha Jake’s one lingers around, dancing around me, invitingly. He was very handsome. Sporting a five o’clock shadow, dusty blonde hair and warm dark brown eyes. He was putting to shame a lot of the most good looking elves I knew. I noticed some scars on his arms and drawings on his skin. He was muscular and well defined. I really have to stop looking at him. When I mustered the courage to reveal myself, he kept staring at me. I suppose he never heard of my species either, and I must look very strange to him.

That was some DRAMA that year! It happens. Some wolves are so hormonal by the time they get out there that their wolf loses sight completely and just claims the first she-wolf he finds and then rapes her. They call it being ‘lust drunk’. Luckily, alpha’s are stronger and have more resolve than other wolves so I knew I didn’t have anything to worry about there. I just needed to pray that I didn’t pick up MY mates scent tonight. “Line up on the edge of the pavement.” Everyone lines up elbow to elbow practically to have room for everyone to make a straight single file line across the back patio of the pack house.

“Your steed is your partner. He is your second weapon. He is, also, your best defense against the wolves when they’re on the attack. Werewolves are large, and they’re powerful. You’ll want to do your best to stay above them and maintain the height advantage. So, whatever happens, absolutely do not allow yourself to be knocked off of your horse, and under no circumstances do you ever dismount. “Thirdly and, also, lastly is shooting. If you see a wolf, shoot it, and, when you shoot it, shoot to kill. We’ve lost too many men because they had second thoughts about killing them. A moment’s hesitation could mean your end, or somebody else’s.

A howl with a purpose. A quarter of the warriors followed and shifted, the sound of bones breaking and skin tearing serving as the music as the sun started to set. The battle willl stretch ‘til night. In place of the men were wolves, all mighty and ferocious. Fierce slit eyes, a magnificent mane of fur, and razor sharp nails digging the soil. The wolves sat and it was the others’ cue to climb onto them. Atleast four men could ride one wolf. Another howl came from Flavian, and altogether, the wolves huffed and took a leap. In the blink of an eye, all that was left of them were dust from the utter speed.

Wells skimmed through my expression and continued to explain the norms of this world. "Werewolves possessed enhanced senses. In the human perspective, only five senses are known, but not werewolves. Our kind is blessed by the Moon Goddess; a sixth sense to communicate with the mind and another with your wolf," I thought that was his brief explanation, not until he trailed further which I absolutely do not dislike. "—In this place, there is also a hierarchy to be followed. The Alpha, the beta, the subordinates, and the weakest, the omegas,"

"You're beautiful, you know." He raced to strip and change after she poked his leg. She remained close to him while observing the other wolves. Trying to figure out who they were all? She'd eventually identify the entire pack, but she couldn't recognize who they were unless she could smell them. As they trotted to his house, a couple of kilometers distant, he massaged her muzzle with his cheek. Even so, she appeared suspicious, the way she drew her ears back and pressed her body against his to retain her bearing as they went, while she continued gazing about at the other wolves. He hoped he could question her about what was wrong. In an attempt to soothe her down, he turned his head and lick

Yes, Korotkov felt no better, but he no longer pushed Pasha away from him. Now only the Dryad and Kisa have returned. Only I would never have thought that the search in their forest could take so long. After all, their forest was audible rocks ... The girls did not go into the details of their journey, but apparently they also had "uninvited" guests, like we have in the north. Why then white wolves attacked a flock of snow leopards is still not clear. And where these wolves came from is also not known. Maybe Marun already knew something, but I don't talk to him, and Pasha didn't mention anything about it.

Their tongues licked at his face and he brought out his own tongue to meet theirs. ["You're beautiful."] Leonardo told the new wolf and he saw the other two Alpha's stare at him briefly and instantly he knew they all could hear each other through their mates' link. ["What is your name?" Kawan asked and the wolf whimpered softly before he answered. ["Phoenix."] [Let's run, Phoenix."] Quillon withdrew from licking the wolf's stomach to stare into its silver eyes. ["We will find you food. The biggest bulk!"] He laughed as Phoenix rolled over then stood on all fours.
