Expect The Unexpected

Expect The Unexpected

James gulped as he tried to deny it. “You little fucking liar. Want me to call Amy right now? Ask if you’ve ever laughed or called her names for her weight?” I slammed my hands on the table. James was withering knowing I had him. “It was just joking around. No one was getting hurt.” James was starting to shake under the gaze of our moms. “Just jokes?” Mamá sniffled. “No one was getting hurt?” Mom’s green eyes had hardened to emeralds and were glaring daggers. If she could make lasers with them, James would be ash.

I loved Cassidy from the Princes of Ravenswood and was so happy that she got her own story. I expected everything to be sassy and quick witted. what was completely unexpected was how much love there is around her, from her mums to her brother (eventually) and Collin to be so patient and accepting.

Ahh another great story by Bryant!! Collin and Cassidy are such an adorable couple! Despite the traumatic experience, it goes to show how one is not defined by one's scars, and oh to be loved, cared for, and to be seen by a Collin Oscar Cole, I am so in love with your fictional men, seriously!!

Last Chance

Last Chance

Their eyes are full of hope, and their smiles make me strong. The ringing of my mobile stopped my daydreaming about those who had already left me. "Hello, Mom," I said. That meek old woman is my mother. On the other side, he always smiled softly at me. "You don't come home?" "You cook a lot, you know," said the mother. "Go home, Buck." "Bring mother-in-law or not?" asked mom with a joke that I already memorised. "Hey, it's not time yet, Mom," I said. making mom chuckle

“Daddy, Will You Ever Love Me?”

“Daddy, Will You Ever Love Me?”

"You're scruffy!" "Oh," I said, a sense of relief flowing through me. "Sorry." "I used to tell you all the time honey, girls are soft, and we don't like scratchy skin." "I know, I remember." I nodded, thinking damn straight she was soft. "Yeah, those whiskers can hurt our lips." She winked "Even the ones on our mouth." "W...what did you just say?" Mom stared at me for a moment with her big blue eyes and laughed; "It was a joke; don't tell me they don't tell raunchy jokes over at the frat house!"

The Rise of the Half-Rank Wolf

The Rise of the Half-Rank Wolf

But instead of acknowledging my feelings, she brushed them aside, insisting on her own version of reality. “I think you’re the one who’s living in delusions, Maddie. After everything we’ve been through, you’re just gonna drop it like nothing. Don’t talk rubbish, Maddie. You’re not that stupid.” Her dismissiveness grated on my nerves, igniting a simmering anger within me. "You think this was a joke?" I snapped, my frustration bubbling to the surface. "I am serious, mother." But Mom's response was a chuckle, "Enough with the jokes, Maddie," she said, her tone light and unconcerned as if my words were nothing more than a jest to her.

An Alpha for Christmas

An Alpha for Christmas

I laughed at my own joke, but I could hear my mom laughing as well. "Winter Breeze! You're bad", mom said while still laughing. I love how my mom laughs at my cheesy jokes. Once I was off the phone with my mom, I was in the cab on my way to the airport. I couldn't wait to see my mom and meet Jared. My mother had told me he lost his wife to an unfortunate accident years ago and was too heartbroken to move on, until he met my mother.

i will recommend this book to anyone. This is your first story, and I can honestly say, you are doing an amazing job. This book is short, funny, awesome characters, kind, loving, and sass. Strong female character. Your book is not dragging the story line which I like. Well done author, keep the work

Mommy, Is The President Our Daddy? The Ex-Wife’s Revenge

I said, picking up the call. “Finally I get to hear your voice. For a second there I thought you were dead,” she joked. That was my mother. A woman who loved dark humor to its core. “How is the weather over in the states treating you? Are you okay? Do they serve some of those hamburgers that give cancer?” “Mum, that’s fake news. You don’t need to say that again. Maybe some time you can visit here.” “Sure, maybe when I’m dead,” she laughed as I rolled my eyes.

MOM

MOM

I grabbed a nude purse from my closet placing my lipgloss, a peppermint, some cash, three bubble gum which I usually carry and I was done. I came out of the closet and I heard gasps coming from the people in the room. "Wow mommy you look beautiful". Emma was the first to speak. "Oh my world, Liz we did a great job making your momma look good. Anna said with her eyes wide. "Yes, we did. We make a great team don't you think?." Liz said doing the fist bump with her aunt. l looked at Damien. " Mom you look gorgeous, Alex doesn't even know what he's gotten himself into". He said proudly.

I said, "I guess so. He's usually so serious, it just looks weird seeing him laugh this hard." I said, "I'm going to get ready for school, mom. His wolf is full of dad jokes. I really don't want to hear them right now." Mom laughed and said, "Your wolf is like Yara. She can talk to other wolves?" I said, "Yeah, so is his. It's weird seeing him laugh like this. I'm getting out of here." Mom laughed and said, "Okay honey. We'll see you in the living room."

Overall a very good plot. It goes through 3 generations of she-wolfs. The only issue I had is how it reads. There was some mishaps, but it happens. My main issue was reading during conversations, it just flows bad. Just needs a little work on your writing technique.
