She was a joker in the house and always made a joke out of us all. Her voice was usually firm, as it was right now. Perhaps she had been pretending to the people who kept her.

mom said. “Justa week? Two years is longer than a week.” I whispered but made sure that they can hear it. “Is she Sunny? Oh my gosh she is so pretty.” “I know. I laughed at my own joke, but I could hear my mom laughing as well. "Winter Breeze! You're bad", mom said while still laughing. I love how my mom laughs at my cheesy jokes. Once I was off the phone with my mom, I was in the cab on my way to the airport. I couldn't wait to see my mom and meet Jared. My mother had told me he lost his wife to an unfortunate accident years ago and was too heartbroken to move on, until he met my mother.
