He placed Dabria on her feet and started climbing up the treehouse. Dabria was confused with that whole conversation. She wanted to ask Zaric what he meant. She followed Zaric behind. As she stepped into the treehouse, she followed Zeus' scent to her room. Zeus was sitting on the edge of the bed. As if he was waiting for Dabria. As soon as Dabria stepped into the room, Zeus extended his hand for her. Dabria placed her hand on his hand and went closer to Zeus. Zeus made Dabria sit on his lap. Then he buried his face in the crock of her neck. "So, are you curious as well about what Zaric just said?" Zeus asked Dabria in a low tone as he rubbed the tip of his nose on Dabria's neck.

Her ebony hair and blue eyes gave off a maternal vibe. "That would be most agreeable," Zeus nodded. His voice was husk. His bluish gray hair and green eyes gave off a serious demeanor. "To my left is Salax the demon God of Lust, to my right is Veraque, demon God of envy. Across from me is Erys and next to him is Kira. To what do I own the honor of our meeting?" I was putting on my best formal attitude. I had no idea what the Olympians were capable of, or how far their reach went.

The Moonfall Festival came three weeks later, and Zeus turned Olympus into a theater of light. The great terrace floated above the cloud sea. Bronze torches burned without smoke, musicians played beneath columns wrapped in laurel, and a tower of crystal cups rose beside the central fountain, each cup filled with pale nectar that shimmered like captured stars. Doves of light circled the upper balconies, and the daughters of the old sea houses trailed silk over the marble steps. Every noble house had come to watch the oath finally become a betrothal.

He rushed to her and caught her up and held her, tight, so tight. “Are you all right?” He looked her over, checking her arms, her face, her legs. “Did they hurt you? Are you injured anywhere?” She shook her head and leaned into him. Zeus stood on the high terrace and watched. His hands gripped the railing, the knuckles white. Nothing showed on his face, but his eyes had gone red. Hand in hand, my mother and Julian walked down from Olympus, step by step. They did not look back. I drifted behind them and could not help looking back once at Zeus.

Olympus is once again strong and the Gods are powerful once more. He hears their prayers in the morning, but at night, when the temple is closed, he will visit the seductress living there, his cock always ready to serve her. The battles will only get worse, I need you to be strong.’ ‘Not until Orion returns with my daughter.’ Zeus caressed her face. ‘It’ll be a long time before he returns. Without you, the Olympiad's lights will fade and my kingdom will die.’ There was one thing I knew for sure Zeus truly loved Sophia, despite his other extracurricular activities. He led his beloved out of the room and to their chambers. The door slammed behind them.

Up close, I could see the fear she carried, just like me she didn't want her father here. Zeus stood far ahead, near the center platform where the lava light made everything look carved in gold and shadow. He was in human form, dressed in royal black and deep crimson, the fabric made him more handsome and I felt like my heart was hammering in my chest. He looked composed and ready.

“You are all dismissed. Typhon and Selene, you two stay.” Everyone walked out of the room. Typhon and Selene didn’t miss the menacing glances that they received as some of the Gods exited the room. “Typhon, Selene, it is your duty to us all here on Mount Olympus to monitor this child. Our fate rests in your hands. Don’t make me regret leaving this up to you two, I will not hesitate to eradicate both your entire species.” Zeus’s words held promise. Typhon and Selene know better than to take what he was saying lightly.

While Orion was tearing the ocean apart looking for us, Astro and I were already escorted safely to the golden peaks of Mount Olympus by Zeus’s royal envoys. Standing before Zeus, even though I had never met him in my life, the undeniable pull of our bloodline made me feel an instant, overwhelming sense of belonging. My eyes welled with tears. He was just as emotional. The almighty King of the Gods wrapped us in a trembling embrace, choked with tears: "You’re home... You're finally home, my daughter..."
