Rayland walked into the kitchen and watched Miranda pace back and forth. He could tell that she was talking to someone, but didn’t know who or cared.

Walking over to the fridge, they accidentally bumped into each other.

“Oh sorry,” Miranda suddenly said and touched Rayland’s stomach.

Rayland looked at her and said, “It’s fine, she didn’t get hurt her.”

“Oh,” Miranda said and excused herself.

Rayland thought to himself that she was a bit too nervous but let it be, she had nothing to do with him.

As Miranda was getting dinner ready and Rayland was digging in the fridge, Miranda said, “Parisa is a beautiful name.”
