Anna faked a smile before nodding her head, acting to be more tired than him. Nick got down from the bed and directly walked to have a shower without waiting for her or offering her to join.

Anna slowly got up while Nick was still in the shower. She freshened up in the other washroom and wore her clothes. She loved Nick. They had always been physically active. Anna always felt that having Nick inside her was the best feeling ever, she felt he knew her inside out. But she hated to admit that she didn’t feel the same anymore, she didn’t feel the same when he tried to make love to her. Though she didn’t want that to happen. She still wanted Nick to be her partner but she needed something more too.

Anna couldn’t figure where they were lacking but she loved him, yet she couldn’t deny the physical tension among them. She wanted to discuss the matter with Nick but she didn’t know how to. She just couldn’t walk to him randomly and say that having sex with him bored her and she had to fake her orgasm every time and you had been a total idiot not to realize that.

Anna was busy thinking all this, sitting at her desk. She tried to concentrate on her work but her disturbed mind blocked her from doing any work or thinking anything straight. She looked at her side. There was Alexa, her best friend and they happened to get this internship together. They were lucky for sure.

“Lexa, are you busy?” Anna asked, looking around.

Alexa raised her head from the laptop screen to look at her best friend who seemed to be disturbed and she had been noticing that for quite some time now. She tried asking her as well but she never said anything. She nodded her head. “Not much. I can take a break.”

“Great! Let’s grab some coffee, I need your opinion on something. Something really important.”

They both walked to the cafe where Anna explained the entire situation to her.

“If Nick can't fuck the life out of you, then he's not the one for you, babe. Just because you both have been together for a long time, doesn't mean you can’t break up with him. It’s still not that late." Alexa said it like it's the simplest thing in the world.

Anna let out a breath and the girlfriend inside her woke up. “You’re taking Nick wrong, Lexa. He just likes to be slow and romantic.” She sighed not knowing whether she was trying to convince Alexa or herself.

"Well, it sounds to me that you need a little less love making and a little more fucking. You’re done with these slow, romantic, love making sessions.” She shrugged her shoulders and she was not wrong.

The discussion couldn’t go further as they both were called for something important.

A WEEK LATER

Anna was driving to Nick’s place to see him. He was returning from a tour, so she thought of giving him a surprise. It was a three hour long drive from her place but she didn’t mind that. Getting into the driveway of her boyfriend's father's home, she noticed that Nick’s car wasn't there.

“No worries! The surprise will be even better.” She thought while parking the car around the corner so Nick wouldn’t see her car near the home.

Knocking on the door, the anticipation rising inside of her made her sweat. She was greeted by Nick's father, Will. The man was in his late late thirties but he looked even younger. He never looked like Nick’s father, he seemed to be his elder brother. He had raised Nick alone after his wife left them.

“Good morning, Mr. Johnson, it’s been a long time since I saw you.” Anna smiled, hugging him.

“I didn’t see you around either, flower.” Will reciprocated the hug.

"Will you mind if I wait here until Nick arrives?"

The tall man with the knife-like sharp jawline smiled. "Of course, not, dear. It’s your home too." Taking her hand in his, feeling the warmth of her delicate fingers on his leading her into the living room.

“Please, make yourself comfortable, flower. I spoke to him a while ago, he would be late. His flight was delayed.” Will informed her and passed some water to her.

“You look different from the last time I saw you. It seems something is bothering you a lot. You look like you need to talk. I’m sure you know that you can share anything with me. I’m not just your boyfriend’s father, I’m your friend too.” He spoke softly to make Anna feel comfortable.

She remained silent for a while, in between remembering everything with Nick. "I do."

“What’s the matter, flower? What’s bothering you so much? Is everything fine between you and Nick?”

Anna looked at the man in front of her. One thing she had always admired about him was that when she spoke to him, all of his attention remained on her. He was someone who heard every word spoken to him carefully before replying to anything.

Seeing her hesitating, Will held her hand and pressed it gently to assure her that everything was fine and he wouldn’t judge her.

“I know you’re not like other typical parents, still it feels weird, considering you’re my boyfriend’s father. It’s about sex.”

Will raised his eyebrows in surprise when Anna completed her words.

“It automatically means Nick is involved in this matter, but go on. I won’t judge you.”

Anna closed her eyes and inhaled a deep breath. “I don’t know how to put it in words. Nick. Actually, he hasn't been able to, you know…” She was fidgeting with her fingers, trying to search for the appropriate word to describe her situation.

“Finish the session?” Will asked softly.

She could sense the shock in his voice. She immediately shook her head in no. "No! It's the opposite actually."

“He failed to give you an orgasm?” His words came out like a question.

Anna nodded. She was feeling a bit uncomfortable suddenly talking to him about her sex life, also she felt bad for telling about Nick to him. It was their matter, she shouldn’t have included his father. Maybe.

“Okay, I get it. Have you spoken to Nick regarding this?”

“No, I didn’t want to hurt him or make him feel unwanted. So….”

“So?” Will raised his eyebrows, demanding the answer from her.

Suddenly the silent house filled with Will’s laughter. Anna frowned and stared at him blankly. She tried to find the humor in between her struggle. After a while, he stopped.

“What do you think? Do you feel the love or passion have faded away?”

“It’s not about passion or love. It’s… It’s just I feel something is missing. I’m missing the excitement.”

"Well maybe you need something a bit rougher. Maybe kinkier. Maybe you should start messing around with a man instead of looking out for Nick only." Will shrugged his shoulders as if Nick was not his son, he was speaking about.

"Will!" Anna gasped.

"I'm just saying. In the end, it’s your life and it’s you who has to decide what you want to do further.”

“I… I don’t like it rough or kinky stuff, Will.”

Will smirked. "Have you ever tried it?"

Anna shook her head negatively.

“Then how do you already decide that you don’t want it or in your words you don’t like it rough? Or you’re not into kinky stuff?”

She was again at a loss of words by his direct statement. He didn’t have to be so to the point all the time. Just as she was about to reply, Will’s phone buzzed and he went to attend that.

It had been a while since Will was gone and there was no trace of him to return. So, Anna decided to get up and look for him. She checked into his office beside the hall but it was empty. She checked all the other rooms to find them empty as well. After going further ahead the hallway, she saw a door to a room. She had never been inside that room before.

Anna had come to this house a lot of times but she never saw this door open. As a kid, she used to wonder if Nick ever saw it open or not. To her luck, the door was not locked this time, she twisted the knob and the door opened.

She took a step inside the room and her eyes widened seeing what the room contained. “Oh my God!” The words escaped her mouth as her eyes scanned the room.
