“Ughh..it’s almost midnight and you’re still reading this book, such a nerd,” said Jacob as he walked by Emma’s chair.

“Don’t you ever get tired?” he asked Emma teasingly…

”Let me take a look…” he says as he pulls the book from Emma’s hands and starts to read aloud…

Finally! Emma exclaimed as she managed to grab her book from Jacob who was too lost in Emma’s eyes to notice she had even reached the book. She then ran upstairs to her room…Jacob, still trying to make sense of what just happened, wandered off to his room, lost in thought.

12:35 am…Jacob and Emma still haven’t fallen asleep..the thoughts of what happened that midnight still lingered in their heads keeping them awake for longer than they should be. A few minutes passed and all Emma could think of was what could’ve happened if she didn’t run upstairs.

It was almost 2 hours past midnight already and Emma was still wide awake..she tried changing her position on the bed but she still couldn’t fall asleep. Emma jumped out of bed…

”I’ll just go get something to drink,” she said as she headed to the kitchen.

While Emma was hunting the fridge for a drink, she heard footsteps behind her…

“What’s wrong Em.? Couldn’t sleep?” Jacob let out with a slight smirk.

Emma stuttered, ”uhm I just wanted to grab a d….”

“Wanna know why I’m up?” Jacob cut in before she could finish her sentence.

“Jacob..we’re not supposed to be doing this,” Emma managed to let out, trying her best to hide the pleasure she was feeling.

Without thinking, Jacob lifted her onto the kitchen counter…he pulled her close with her legs parted enough to let Jacob between them. Their lips stayed locked, but the more they kissed, the more they craved…nothing seemed enough to quench the thirst they both felt.
