Chapter 1
Eve's pov        I inhaled happily watching the jungle passed by. The greenery is so green it looks almost dark. I smiled looking at the birds chirping on the branch.       I smiled after a very long time, I smiled. you deserve to cry in this hell for the rest of your life. I inhaled sharply remembering the words from the monster of my past.      But it's going to be there, in my past. I'm never going to be there again. Never going to let anyone make me feel those pain again.         A line of clearing came into my sight. It was like an area of beautiful mansions amongst the trees. I stopped at the fence that connected the road to the clearing. There was a small house on the right side, must be the watchman's abode.          If they have a watchman for a whole neighborhood then maybe my neighbo

Chapter 2
Eve's pov      "Wow", that's the first thing that came to my mind after I saw the person I collided with.         And not to forget the fact that I'm still on the floor and she is standing there in front of me with a beautiful frown on her face. Beautiful frown! Seriously!      "Hey im sorry, are you okay?" She waved her hand in front of me and that's when I realised that she was now kneeling in front of me.      "I- I - im fine." I stuttered. This is the first time I stuttered in front of a girl cause I was so engrossed by her beauty that I failed to form a sentence.      Are you doubting my sexuality? Don't worry. I'm doing that too.      "No, you're not. Look you have twisted your leg." That's when I discover the condition I was in. I was still drooped on the floor with one ankle under

Chapter 3
Eve's pov    Danzel is one of the few guys I have met whose faces looked like they belonged in a museum for the upcoming generation to see human beauty. (Is there a museum-like that exists?)     His hair was messy and falling over his forehead like beautiful dark waves. His nose was straight and pointy but they were a little crooked in the middle, maybe because of some fight. His lips were full and pinker than the color pink itself that looked red.       'Cause he was making out you fool' my subconscious snarled at me.      His jawline was sharp and straight and oh his eyes. His eyes were green. Like the forest green. I have ne

Eve’s pov        The morning comes slowly when you don't sleep at night. I rolled out of the bed and went towards the bathroom. As I looked at myself in the mirror I saw how swollen my eyes were. I had nightmares all night and cried myself to sleep. The effects are clear on my face.              I brushed my teeth and went to my vanity to do something about my dark circles. The return of my nightmares is not something I was expecting. But lastnight i had one of the scariest nights I have ever experienced.                    After finishing with my breakfast I quickly got ready for school. My s

Eve's pov      Waking up the other day was hard, I was in a deep slumber for a change. Last night I was off till late night doing assignments and cleaning my house so that I could enjoy tomorrow with my new friends.      I groaned and moaned for a good five minutes and kept rolling on my bed because I didn't want to wake up but then finally when the sunlight sprinted through my window I thought of waking up and cleaning the house because we are having a Barbecue tomorrow.      As I made my way to the washroom, I tied my hair in a bun and realised that my hair is getting longer. I need to cut it. After taking a shower and changing into a fresh pair of clothes for school I looked at myself in the mirror and found th

Eve's pov"Would you like to order now?" I ask the girl after giving her the menu card.   "No, can you come after five minutes?" She replied, smiling warmly.  "Sure, Mam," I said and moved back to the counter area to collect another order.     The days have been going so fast and it's already been two months since I have started living here. But I almost feel like I have been living here all my life.       I have come to love this new life that I have created for myself. I love being independent and earning for myself. But I also sometimes wish to go back home to the smiling face of my grandma, or the welcoming h

chapter 7
I ran downstairs in full sprints to make sure what I saw was real. I stood behind the backyard window and looked outside to make sure he was still there. But what I saw made my heart flip. The wolf. My wolfie was staring at my bedroom window. He was just standing there with his front paws and staring at my bedroom, but that's not what made me take a step forward. It was the raw emotion in his eyes. I don't know how ridiculous it was for me to think that I can see a wolf's emotion in his eyes. But something in my heart said those were the accurate things. I saw deep longing and guilt in his eyes. I don't know what I am supposed to think right now but the deep emotions in his eyes make me want to open the only barrier that is separating us and spring forward to take him in my embrace. I stood there contemplating what I was supposed to do. What is the right thing to do? The rational Side Of Me wanted to ignore it and go back inside but the organ on the left side of my

I turned around to see Leon smiling at me, so I just simply smiled back, “hey, Leon.” “What's up?” he asked, plopping down beside me. “Nothing much, the girls were planning to go to the mall for shopping.” I motioned towards Sarah and Emily, “how are you doing?” “I'm doing fine,” then he turned towards Emilymm “Oh, are we invited?” he asked his sister. “No!” Both the other girls replied in unison and I chuckled. “It's a girl n day out.” “Yeah, whatever.”Leon grumbled and turned towards me, “how are the classes going so far?” “It's a nightmare, I'm stressed out because of the tests.” “What tests?” he furrowed his eyebrows. “The tests that are a month away.” James answered for me. “She is an overachiever and also an overthinker.” Sarah pointed towards me, “That's why wwe planned the day out to loosen her up.” “But are you sure that's what made you so tense?” seeing Leon caring for me made me smile. He is such a sweetheart, unlike someone. “Yeah Lean, I'm sure I'm fine.” I as

CHAPTER 9EVE’S POV Another school week goes by without a hitch. Though to most of the teenagers school is tough and boring but not to me. I know how privileged I am to go to school and have the freedom of detecting my own life. It always makes my throat tighten when I think about it. I’ve been locked up and home schooled most of my life and it feels liberating to wake up everyday and look forward to getting out of the house and doing something like getting educated and working for myself. Then there are my friends. These non judgemental absolute awesome people chose me to be in their group and willing. Spending time with them is another thing I look forward to everyday as well. The sheer idea of them trying to squeeze their schedule with mine and making plans with me makes me feel unimaginably happy. Like right now, we all are at our table at the kitchen planning about what to do this weekend. It became one of our rituals to meet and hangout on the weeke

Chapter 10
Eve’s pov Another week rolled by and things fell into place for me, school, work, homework and hanging out with my friends at lunch everyday. It was smooth except the occasional road blocks such as my nightmares. Every Night I came screaming my lungs out and I would go sit outside on my porch and wait for my wolfie. But he never came back after that night. I think I made him run away from my sad life story. But I still wait for him though. I don't know why I feel like he will come back. Just don’t know when. Today is Thursday, but the diner is relatively busier than the other weekdays for some reason. I have not gotten any chance to take a breather yet, since the whole diner is buzzing with customers. But thats okay. I love this about my job the most. More than cleaning. Tomorrow is friday and my friends have finally decided to go to bowling on saturday evening. I am looking forward to the outdoor activity more than the actual sport. Since I don't know how to bo
