Partnerku terdiam sedetik sebelum menyahut, "Oke. Kalau begitu, kamu siap-siap. Besok kamu berangkat." Sesudah mengakhiri panggilan telepon, aku menyentuh gaun pengantinku. Air mataku yang terakhir menetes. Hari ini, depresi yang diidap adik angkatku kambuh lagi dan dia ingin bunuh diri. Lagi-lagi, Aditya membatalkan resepsi pernikahan kami. Aku yang tidak berdaya dan putus asa berucap sambil memandangi Aditya, "Ini sudah yang ke-88 kali." Aditya merasa bersalah. Dia menunduk sembari membujukku, "Beri aku waktu lagi ya? Kalau bukan karena dulu Yasmin menyelamatkanmu, mana mungkin dia diculik? Dia nggak akan mengidap depresi dan mentalnya nggak akan hancur." Ayahku meneruskan, "Sekarang kamu menghalangi Aditya untuk menyelamatkan Yasmin, apa kamu mau mencelakai adikmu? Kenapa kamu begitu egois? Apa resepsi pernikahanmu lebih penting daripada nyawa Yasmin?" Aku sudah sering mendengar teguran seperti ini. Dulu aku pasti membantah, tetapi kali ini aku terdiam. Tunanganku dan orang tuaku tidak menyukaiku, bahkan mereka tidak memercayaiku. Kalau begitu, aku pergi saja.
