Gently pushing it open, I peered inside and saw a small, black kitten curled up on the floor. My heart melted at the sight. The kitten was absolutely adorable, its glossy fur gleaming under the soft light filtering through the room. Unable to resist, I stepped inside and knelt down, reaching out a hand to the tiny creature. The kitten looked up at me with wide, curious eyes before rubbing its head against my hand, purring softly. “Hey there, little one,” I whispered, smiling as I gently scratched behind its ears. The kitten responded by playfully swatting at my fingers, making me laugh.

Flora lounged on the couch, her eyes following Whiskerton's playful antics. The little ginger kitten was leaping at dust motes, swatting them with his tiny paws, his tail flicking with intense concentration. The kitten's boundless energy and childlike wonder were infectious. An urge to spoil this little ball of fluff welled up within her. Flora chuckled softly, entertained by his simple joy. It was a welcome distraction from the monotony of her recovery period.

She forced a nonchalant smile, lightly shaking her head before refocusing her attention back on the screen, her body language and that palpable change within her however not going unnoticed by Emerick. “Kitty!” The adorably childish voice of a small toddler suddenly filled the room as another video rolled in on the screen, taking them all by surprise as they found themselves intently staring at the large pane of glass. They watched as the small human in the video grabbed a grey-coloured kitten with her short and chubby hands from a chair nearby, holding her upside down whilst the feline’s furry tail swished over the little girl’s face, making her let out a sweet and equally adorable giggle.

"It's alright." "Alright! Little minion!" Ethan started, turning to Crystal. "Time for round two!" "Yes! Captain Ethan!" Crystal beamed and together they marched in the kitchen. "Why is she calling Ethan of all people captain?" Suzanne asked a bit disgusted. Ashley laughed, "Crystal is just weird like that." Suzanne, Ryan and Ashley also went to the kitchen.

The little bugger was thirsty and took to the cream with gusto. The little mischief-maker was even kind enough to start flexing his tiny claws. Barring audio and visual input, Rhada's imagination took over. She had no clue what was causing the pleasure/pain. Cream spilled over her chest and the other two kittens joined the buffet. I changed up the cream with the peanut butter.

“He looks proud.” “Proud?” I snapped. “He should be running for his life.” The stray didn’t even react—just kept eating as if my presence meant nothing. Unbelievable audacity. I stepped closer carefully, crouching down slightly to get a better look at the kittens. Three of them. Tiny. Fragile. Squeaking softly as they shifted beneath Gold’s protective body. My irritation faded slightly at the sight. One was small and delicate—clearly female. The other two were slightly larger males, both wriggling restlessly as they nudged against their mother.

She closed her eyes again, and this time, she didn't pretend to be awake. When she finally sat up, he was watching her. Not with hunger. Just with a quiet, assessing attention—like he was memorizing the shape of her in his space. "You're like a cat," he said. She stared at him. "you have said that before." His expression didn't change. But his ears—she noticed—were slightly pink. She didn't say anything. She just leaned back into his side, and his arm came around her, and she felt him press a kiss to the top of her head before he went back to his book.

He went straight to my mustang and touched the hood of it. "Forget about that. It's not working. Take a look at this." I said and wore my eye goggles and used the cutter to open the box. "Easy on that part. We're still not sure - - - - - - Jacob stopped talking when I lifted a small white paper. "That's it?" He asked and walked towards me. I opened the folded paper. 'You will never catch me. One wrong move. Checkmate.' - Mendez Fuck! He knew my fucking house!

"Get some rest, bookworm?" The pure silent world rose a deep voice, a little bit rough. Kitty was so into the book that it took a second to realize she was not on the run with Jean Valjean. She would have remembered she was trying to distance herself from Erebus, the too attractive man that was her poison if it wasn't the tray in front her-- "Wow! It smells greattt!" Kitty threw herself to the table, leaving the cozy corner she was curling in.

"This is super cute. Did you spend all week making this?" Mike held up a finger in response, his eyes scanning the rest of the page. He wore a button down dress shirt over his jeans, and his bare feet were in the sand. The rest of the room was empty, though tiny waterfalls along the edge of the room filled water troughs. "Oh please. We both know you can't be reading anything in there." Lily smirked. She was dying to know where this was going. "On the contrary." Mike flipped the book over, revealing the word CAT in giant letters. "You can call it an exercise in concentration."
