After Betrayed By My Alpha King Mate I Disappeared นิยาย & เรื่องราว

But my voice had faded; I could barely open my mouth. So I let my body collapse, no longer struggling. He came closer and knelt down beside me. “I’m doing this for Kelly. She’s my mate, you know. And you were right to ask me if I’ve been working here for a while. My answer would be—no! I’ve never worked here. I’ve never worked anywhere. My beautiful mate earns, and I enjoy staying at home. Today, when she heard you’d been crowned as the new Alpha Queen, she lost her mind. She knew we would come for her job. And then there was her loyalty to Alpha King Jack. She asked me to help her, and for the first time, I did something good for my mate.” That was all I could hear before I passed out, and

Dawn closed the distance between us and held me in both frail hands, shaking me slightly. "Alpha King Maxxwell is your mate. How could you betray him? You don't know how it feels like when your mate is dead, River. A dead mate is worst than rejection. You will be living in this world as if you are dead. Believe me, because I experienced it first hand, okay? Betraying the alpha king is not worth it. You should be the one helping him and protect him at all costs in your little way." I slapped away her hands and picked up the fallen leaves on the ground. "He betrayed me first," I murmured.

"Traitor! Slave forever!" Today is my 18th birthday, the day I've been looking forward to. But now, I am being beaten, judged, humiliated and vilified... All because my brother, Benjamin, had quietly eloped with the Alpha King's fiancée. I, on the other hand, was left here, a target of the crowd, bearing all the guilt for them... *** Fortunately, I was not killed by those people, and even Alpha King interrogated me personally. "Is that you?" A low, sexy voice came from above me. When I looked up, I saw a magnificent creature walking towards my direction with his head up high and his Phoenix eyes were coldly looking at me. "MATE!!!" There's no doubt about it. He's my mate! Is he here t

He waved off the question and kissed my forehead, laying his head close to mine and cuddling up with me. “Goodnight, Liya.” My heart broke into a million pieces. Maybe I was just overthinking things. As I laid awake on the bed, a million questions ran through my mind. Would the Alpha love me enough to make me his mate? Would the Pack ever accept me as their next Luna? I saw a quick shadow shuffle quickly past the sliding doors and my heart seized. I grabbed Alpha Trexor, digging my fingernails into his skin.

“Remember all the promises you made to me. You promised to always protect me. Please, Maximus, pl—” “Alpha. I am Alpha to you! And all those promises ceased to exist the moment I found my mate,” the Alpha King cut her off with a growl. My heart ached—it ached so much that I clutched my chest at the sight I was seeing. How heartbreaking was it to love someone wholeheartedly only to be discarded as if you were nothing because they found their mate? Lila clicked her fingers again, and the scene completely disappeared. She then turned to look at me.

I lay there and listened. "What happened to her?" I heard a familiar male voice. What is the alpha doing here? I dared to hope that he was here to save me. "Looks like the crap was beaten out of her and the bruising on her abdomen looks like a mate's betrayal!" The woman next to me said. Mate? Betrayal? I was so confused because Heath rejected me before he fucked anyone, so who else hated me enough to do this. Who apparently was also my mate? I was racking my brain until my body went cold with the next voice I heard.

But his lips twisted into something cruel. “I reject you.” The words hit me harder than claws, harder than a blade. Gasps echoed through the hall. The crowd stirred like a restless storm. “No way”. “The Alpha’s son rejecting his fated mate?” “Of course he would. Look at her. She’s nothing but a weakling.” Their voices stabbed at me, one after another. My knees trembled as though they could give out at any moment. My throat tightened. I forced my voice out, broken and weak. “What?”

“I don’t owe you or this pack anything, King. And you’re not going to stop me from leaving. You have no claim on me.” “Do I not?” his head tilts. “No,” I snap. “You don’t even want me, you want to turn me into a pawn for your amusement, but tough luck asshole, it’s not happening. I won’t play this game.” “There’s no game here, Mate.” He says, still not letting go of my hand. I would have disappeared quietly, but it's good that he’s here, I can crush his ego and break this cussed bond. “I Aeliana Hartley of Mooncrest pack reject you, Alpha Kingston Vale as my mate. I reject all bonds and sever all ties. Accept my rejection.”

The events of the past few days had left me feeling utterly lost, unable to comprehend the chaos that had unfolded. I had heard the prophecy – the shocking revelation that Evelyn was the Alpha King's second chance mate. It was as if the world had been turned upside down, and I couldn't shake the feeling of betrayal and hurt. Evelyn, the woman who had been marked as a slave, now held a place of incredible significance in the Alpha King's life. It felt like a cruel joke, a twist of fate that left me seething with anger.

** IT'S BEEN A WEEK since that night happened and I am still here in Alpha William's mansion. I am still here feeling alone and betrayed, I still can't get myself to move on from what happened but I am trying my best since I know that thinking about it won't do me any good. That it will just make me look more desperate if I still think about it and to believe that he will come back at me. That's why although it hurts, slowly, I am trying to forget him… I just wish that I'll forget him because that's the only thing that I do to help myself.
