Karma : Kill me or Love me
I thought I’d dodged the worst when Mirai reached into her inventory and pulled out a small box.
“Mr. Karma,” she said brightly, “I brought something special for you.”
I froze, my mouth full of bread. “What’s that?” I asked, eyeing the box like it might explode.
She opened it, revealing a silver ring engraved with glowing runes, its surface radiating a faint holy aura. “It’s a sacred item,” she explained, her eyes sparkling. “I got it from a chapel in town. It has a unique ability you’ll love.”
“A ring?” I said, my voice wary. “Mirai, I don’t need jewelry. I’m a dwarf, not a prince.”
