Without warning, my roommate burst into my room, a habitual offense that never failed to provoke irritation. With disapproval etched upon my face, I questioned her, my annoyance palpable. At least she wasn't a loner and was having fun, so good luck to her. My roommate and her friends came in, being noisy as usual. I didn't always want to be grumpy or let everything around me affect me, so I ignored them and eventually fell asleep. When I woke up, the room was like a dung heap with crumpled potato chip bags littered on the floor, half-empty pizza boxes, soda cans scattered haphazardly around the room, and a bowl of overturned popcorn and greasy burger wrappers strewn carelessly. Swallowing my disgust, I tilted my head away, refusing to be bothered or acknowledge the mess.

I am tired of all this. By the time the party begins, my mood is already off and doubt if I will be able to enjoy anything here. Not when my roommate's words keep playing in my damn head "I want to have a piece of my delicious snack" I can say those words had very little effect on me that time but when it comes to this time. I said flatly, keeping my eyes on the documents. “A space away from disturbances…hmm,” he didn't seem to believe me. “You've never been the type to tolerate people, so why would you even have a roommate? And why are you keeping them away from me?” “My choice to have a roommate is solely my business. Also, you have a loud mouth,” I answered. I don't even know why I bothered with him honestly. “I'm just saying, because the Lorcan I know doesn't share kitchen appliances unless there's a very good reason. Is the roommate at least easy on the eyes?" He bounced his brows like the idiot he was.

Tatiana was alarmed to see me. Tahlia had not assigned me any tasks, so I switched to polite mode. “Hello, Tatiana,” I said sweetly with a little curtsy. I could see her face slowly twist, and she seemed angry. “Fake! You’re so fake! Urgh!” “Tatiana, what are you talking about?” An elderly lady with a cane appeared from behind her.
