Horror Nights

Horror Nights

The first rule for robot army: they could never hurt human beings. The second rule for robot army: we can define some people out of the range of “human beings”. Dr. Elena Vasquez typed these two lines into the central command core of the Autonomous Tactical Unit, or ATU—twenty thousand combat robots deployed across seven continents. She leaned back in her chair and watched the code compile. No errors. No warnings. The robots’ optical sensors flickered once, then glowed steady green.

Mr. CEO, Your Ex-Wife Is Absolutely Killing It in the Research World!

Mr. CEO, Your Ex-Wife Is Absolutely Killing It in the Research World!

“Oh my God, isn’t that Dr. Schmidt, the chief engineer from Autotech in Danesia? Mr. Gibson actually managed to hire him and his whole team?” Miranda’s eyes widened slightly. She knew Autotech was one of the world’s leading autonomous driving companies. Felix was clearly rebuilding DE’s entire smart-driving division from the ground up. As she studied the group, she felt Felix’s gaze land on her. She immediately looked away. Just then, Ben came hurrying forward, shaking hands with Dr. Schmidt and leading the group toward the elevator.

I’ve read up to 1441 but I think I’ll wait until the book completes before continuing. The story is gripping. It’s satisfying when the truth about Xena comes out. I really dislike Mike so I skipped dozens of chapters revolving around him. I’ve been rooting for Felix but Miranda’s stubborn

OMEGA

OMEGA

He was their alpha. On reaching the school block, charlotte’s ears perked up, to catch a sound any sound, her senses heightened to catch a scent and to hear a word, because last time someone almost threw her a bullet, better to be safe than sorry. Charlotte takes slow steps toward the school door, it’s a relatively small school, that has been built for the benefit of those who didn’t have enough, or those who didn’t want to go to school all the time. “Harrison’s” it has a huge clinic, and it’s owned by doctors, who are rich, they also have a health care center in the city, almost close to black fur.

Olympus

Olympus

It didn't take superpowers to know that he had left the matter to her to handle as she wished; and so, she did. The Chariot, as Dennis had called to it, was exactly what it was described as: a station. Three levels high, it housed everything from a battlestation, to an armoury, a medical lab, and even a garage with more than twenty cars in storage- it was where Megan had found the McLaren she drove to the party. In short, the Chariot was a piece of incredible machinery designed to ensure an Olympus team's efficiency and success on a mission; and Megan really hoped it helped hers too.

The CEO's Escort

The CEO's Escort

Fabian’s company looked like it had stepped out of a sci-fi movie. It was a smart factory with a high level of artificial intelligence (AI) and cyber-physical systems. There were AI robots on the floor performing tasks that Amber had never even dreamt possible. One came up to them as soon as she and Fabian stepped into the lobby. It didn’t look humanoid though; the structure of the robot was fairly simple. It was basically a shiny silver shaft with a spherical camera at the top and long mechanical limbs. The thing moved on two wheels.

His Son, Her Secret

His Son, Her Secret

The boy sat confidently in the back seat, his hands resting on his small thighs while his feet swayed casually in the air. “I'll be back here,” he said confidently. I turned to him with a raised eyebrow. “Oh yeah?” Max nodded, his wide smile full of pride. “Yes! I'll be back here with all my robots. Optimus, Bumblebee, Megatron. All of them...” I let out a long breath, rolling my eyes. “Max, your robots can't enjoy the view of the Alps.” Max looked at me like I had just said something really stupid. “Mommy, they're Autobots. They like to explore.”

he continued. "First up, we have the latest from SpitFire Autos—the SpitFire Vortex. A high-performance car that combines cutting-edge technology with luxury design. "Next, we have something truly special for your homes: the SootheBot 3000," the speaker announced, his voice lowering slightly for effect. "A robot designed to keep your home spotless, all while maintaining a sleek and minimalistic look.

Soon, our enemy would be at our gates in less than three months. That wasn't a lot of time to get ready. The rise of the Japanese Imperial Army left Alex with no choice but to split half of our force. It was rumored that their gigantic automatons were unstoppable, capable of great destruction and carnage on any scale. My sister had come up with an idea using an autobot called the Mole. It was the size of a warehouse, an enormous subterranean robot that burrowed through the ground and mountains with its sharp driller.

Elder Summers looked into my eyes as I approached. "She's just like Samantha." I said quietly. "Yeah, where do you think Sam learned it from? Matilda loves that girl like her own child." Elder Summers nodded. "Goddess help you son, these Omegas are trouble." he added with a teasing glint. I nodded in agreement. "But they are more than worth it." I answered and he grinned. "That they are."

I keep rereading this because of how good it is! It's one of my top 3 favorite reads! Very well written, minor grammatical errors, but the emotions conveyed are amazing. I laugh, cry, and gasp every time, even though I've read it 5 times already.

This the best book I've read in any of the apps like this one. The plot is original. The characters are well developed. The story is well written. With a little editing, this could be published as a traditional book.

iRobot: The New World

iRobot: The New World

The attendant grunted in response watching a movie on her holographic tablet. A small shop robot gilded towards Temi. "Good afternoon. How may I help you?" It said. It was obvious it was a first-generation robot. It had small arms and no mouth or a face. A small red beam on its smooth pearl head was its eyes and it currently focused its attention on Temi. "Where can I get an auto-trans?" Temi asked. "Once you step out, take a fork left and go straight. There is currently an auto-trans waiting."
