She hesitates at first, but eventually, she steps inside. She's wearing a black hoodie and a purple cap, a clear attempt to disguise herself from the prying eyes of the media. I feel a pang of guilt seeing her like this, knowing I'm the reason she's hiding away, thinking I was loving her all along.

Everett said, "it's alright, you can open your eyes now." She opened her eyes and was fascinated by the beauty of the realm of black mist. There is a colourful light that looks like a galaxy. She thought frightening darkness only surrounded the realm of Black Mist. But that darkness also looks beautiful. "Should we continue our journey? Don't close your eyes," Everett said.

As my fingers were about to touch her face, a picture of a small girl flashed through my mind that made me fall into my knees. "Shit!" I cursed as I sensed an unfathomable throbbing in my chest. A shadow went to me quickly and caressed my back. I raised my head to see who it was. Fabbri with his indecipherable facial expression went to me. I quickly stood up and removed his hand from my back. The son of a bitch smirked and glanced at the girl before glancing at me once again. He also sniffed. He raised his brows at me as if he realized something.

Our black world was turning red with the sunrise, and the tip of a glittering white wall could be seen jutting out above the bare treetops. "You never told me what you thought about the sky. It's beautiful, isn't it?" He nodded and kissed the top of my head. "Hold tight kids, we've got henchmen at our rear."

A guy with snow white hair stood close to us. "Yes I was just about to deal with this." Alexander gritt out as he looked at me with so much hate. My heart squeezed as I took in his hate filled eyes. The blackness that always came and went away quickly after slowly started to fill up the areas around us. It hardly ever showed when I was awake and when it did it left fast. I closed my eyes again to reel it all in. It was all in my head I keep saying. For some reason I couldn't convince myself though and the grey eyes were gone.

“The bark on half the eastern line is gray now. Dead gray. Like something drained the life out of it overnight.” Inferno stirred violently. Zenith inhaled sharply beside me. “The Hollow Arc,” she whispered. “Yes,” I said grimly. Koa looked between us. “Okay, fantastic. I officially hate that name now.” But nobody smiled this time. Because suddenly the pieces aligned too cleanly.
