Anyways, my favorite book is Nights in Rodanthe by Nicholas Sparks." "Hmm," he hummed. "What's your favourite song?" And so we went on talking about random things. We were questioning each other for about half an hour when I finally got bored of it. "I think that's enough," I finally said. "What? We still have an hour left until we get home." "But I don't want to ask any more questions. I am tired," I said, and right on cue a yawn escaped my lips.

I open the book, and of course—it is about space, just like the rest of his room, where planets dangle from the ceiling and stars scatter across the wallpaper. At least it’s educational, though that’s little comfort. A groan slips out before I can stop it. Which fool bought this monstrosity? Then realization crashes down like a cruel punch. It was me. I cursed myself with this. Never again will I encourage bedtime reading.

I whispered with a loving smile, “Which story would you like tonight?” Mike’s face lit up with excitement, his tiny hands reaching for his favorite book. “The one about the brave little wolf, Mumma!” I chuckled as I opened the book, a captivating story about a young wolf’s rand adventure. Mike listened with rapt attention, his eager eyes fixed on the pages as I spun the tale of bravery and exploration. By the time I reached the part where the little wolf found solace under the silvery glow of the moon, my son was already fast asleep.

Xavier said as I settled Loise in bed. “Okay,” I nodded, because I had something to ask him as well. I nodded and picked her bedtime stories. It was a Sleeping Beauty retelling. Xavier’s POV I never thought I’d attend a book reading, talk less of one for little children, yet here I was watching Nicole read bedtime stories about a sleeping knight and the princess who came to save him. “You do this to make her sleep at night?” I asked. “Yes, you should also try it since you have that thing… insomnia,” Loise said.

I said. "Better." She yawned again. "Good night." I mumbled, climbing down the bed as I made my way to the door. When I went back to my room to refresh, Bennett was already inside. His head on my pillow as he read my book? "So these are what girls read whenever they are horny?" He asked, shaking his head. "Please don't read that." I begged. "Porn?" "It's not porn." I glared at him.. "It's Romance." I said, walking to the bed and grabbing the book out of his hands.

After Amelia left the nursery, Andrew turned off the lights in the room, leaving only a dim night light. He placed Asher in the small bed and picked up a bedtime storybook. "What story does Asher want to hear? 'The Adventures in the Candy House'?" Andrew asked. Asher shook his little head, sitting up from the small bed. His tiny hands wandered through the bookshelf on the bedside table, finally pulling out a book, "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves," handing it to Andrew. "Tell this one." Andrew opened the children's storybook and started reading.

With Danielle at my side, I went first to my favorite fabric store, Zig-Zag, for more bits and ends, and then to Barnes & Nobel. “I’ll be a while,” I told my bodyguard. She just nodded. I had truly grown to love Hans Christian Anderson’s “The Nightingale,” but after the twentieth read or so, I had also grown incredibly sick of it. Yes, we’d read a few other books, like Dahl’s Matilda and Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, but they just kept coming back to their favorite over and over. There were no electrical gadgets in her room so the book was helping the boredom. She literally couldn't sleep for at least three hours last night. She just kept tossing and turning around. After every two minutes her cheeks would tint red. Her lips were swollen and she could still feel his lips sucking hers and the sensations that rocked her body weren't ordinary at all. It was late at night when she finally went into deep slumber. After completing half of the book, she was losing interest because her mind was going back to him again and again. He must be in his study by now, probably drowned in his work. If she tried, she could escape into the backyard and could probably do some gardening

This fact wasn't bad but it felt a little strange, the girl was back reading her book now. "Do you collect many genres of novels? And what do you like the most is the mystery genre?" Jessy shook her head, giving the real answer. "No, I only like murder and mystery novels, I'm addicted to those stories." "Have you ever read any novels outside of those genres?" "I have but not five minutes I'm bored and sleepy." Jessy chuckled after her confession. Hearing this David also chuckled, according to him it is a funny thing, someone who is sleepy while reading means they lack sleep or the stories they read are boring.
