Raven is a unique coloring, as her fur is white with silver hints. Her paws are bluish black, while the tip of her tail is purple. Isaiah stands and Raven sits down. He strokes a hand through our fur, and Raven purrs in contempt. “You are gorgeous!” Isaiah says with awe. “Such unique coloring.” The smile that spreads on his face is both proud and loving.

Raven sounded a little confused, and still looked embarrassed. Heather put her book on the table and pushed it in front of Raven. There was a small picture on the front, just like most of Raven's Braille books. The picture looked like a little blonde girl wearing a homemade Superman -- Supergirl, I suppose -- costume. The title was Robin's Great Adventures. At the bottom of the picture I could barely make out the words "A story by", then in larger letters "Raven Tipton".

She stood up and went back into the room. “Rowan.” She called out to him but no response. And judging by Rowan’s rigid back, it was obvious that he was widely awake so she walked farther into the room. “Hey champ.” He still didn’t turn towards her.
