{Grace} I had the perfect imagination for my birthday. My dress was bought a week before, and since it was my eighteenth birthday, I couldn't wait to meet my fated mate, if he would be among the guests. My father had his beta take care of the guest list while the rest of the preparation was personally taken care of by my father, Alpha Moses from the star pack. I was just as excited as every girl in my shoes would be; turning eighteen meant a lot of things, which included shifting for the first time.

I left the priestess place and headed back to my world. I am more worried than angry right now, this connection is making me do what I didn't want to, something detrimental that can lead to loss of life and no matter what it takes, I will make sure I destroy this connection. There can't be a connection between a vampire and a wolf.... Never!!! ********** {Muriel's POV} Yawn....

“You’ve made the right choice.” With the Grimoire in his hands and me now close to my sister, the Grimoire begins to tremble softly, reacting to our powers. Elizabeth looks at me with despair and I mouth to her how deeply sorry I am. I just don't want to lose anyone again. A thunderous blast of pitch-black smoke explodes from the Grimoire, pervading the entire place with haunting screeches and miasma. It surges ceaselessly, truncating all our senses and driving me crazy. I can hear the others screaming and feel Chestnut come awake amid the nightmare. I grip my head and bite my lip, doing my very best to evade the malevolent effect from Elizabeth and Chestnut as well.

Dante answered conversationally. Kaeden rolled his eyes. “So what? You’re going to tell me that my man is one of the seven deadly sins and that there are seven of you?” Dante beamed, “Brother-in-law, you catch on quick, but why don’t you know this? Ah, never mind, my mate doesn’t know about it either,” he gave up. “What nonsense are you speaking? Corbin’s my brother,” Chris asked angrily. Dante hummed, “It’s because he is the moon goddesses, son, that all this shit happened to him. An otherworldly being loves him, and the only one allowed to love her son is the mate she chose for him,” he answered nonchalantly.

I gulp nervously, I try to twist my hand out of his grip, his hold becomes stronger. "I want to break our bond as soon as possible" this time I'm more confident, I stand straight and stare in his red eyes. "Celeste.." he shuts his eyes for a moment, warning me. "I have talked to Hera, she will perform a ritual that will make the rejection painless for the both of us" I say quickly. His eyes instantly open in shock "you did what!?" he asks baffled and angry "I'm going to kill that witch" he says darkly, he leaves my hand, he turns around towards Hera's dungeon but I run and stand in his way.

I open myself up and Ansiel comes forward. "I guess this means you have a solution to this problem?" I ask Ansiel. "I just got a flashback. I know how to fix the forest." He gives me a smile. "Then the floor is yours." Ansiel takes over my body and my wings spread. He flies up into the sky. Just like the ice, he starts saying some incantation that I cannot decipher. A bright green beam burst from our palms. He starts at one point and slowly drags our hands over the entire forest. Once he is done he lands and gives my body back to me.
