I assured her. "It's been seven years. Two thousand five hundred and twenty days, approximately. That's a whole lot of time" She muttered. "You must be really smart to have all that figure in your head. You lost me at two thousand" I mumbled but Alisa seemed to have heard me cause she chuckled. "So, what novel are you reading, princess? I hope you're not a romance freak" I tried to change the subject. She chuckled. "I wouldn't call it romance. The characters lack the drive and the very essence of the book is negligible. The writer seemed to have made sex the only purpose of the characters and even at that, the scenes are very disappointing. I wouldn't even call it erotica".

I had no idea I was requesting something so vividly erotic, so brazenly explicit. Normally, the books I read had steam, yes—but they also had story. A buildup, a narrative thread. The intimacy was always grounded in something emotional or meaningful. But this? This was pure, unfiltered heat from start to finish. There was barely a plot, and the characters existed mostly to fulfill each other’s fantasies. It was graphic and intense and completely unexpected.

She put into words all she saw from the moving picture. But she did something else other than tell the truth. She wrote a character that resembled her in those stories. At least, even just in her novels, she would create friends that wanted her. At least, even just in her novels, she would be able to live the life she could never have lived in reality. At least, even if it's just in her novels, she wouldn't be alone. Day and night she wrote and wrote until she filled pages and pages with words of truth. She wrote until there wasn't a fairy tale lie she couldn't expose anymore.

I'm not promising that though 😅. AN: I want you guys thoughts on this question, *sigh*. I'm conflicted, very conflicted on how to describe Nathaniel's character because in my book where I've written the manuscript of this book although, it's a very short story with maybe 28 chapters. I described Nathaniel as a dark lover in my written manuscript but with you guys now, I'm having second thoughts of changing him to cheesy, lovesick guy yet possessive though I've already changed him to that.
