"Daddy, it was my tenth birthday, and I knew how to read, perfectly fine." I don't say that I was already reading Aunty Seedy's Harlequin books. They all had similar titles: Burning desire. Fury. Loving a highlander. I can't believe I enjoyed those kind of novels once. They all had the same story line, different settings, different characters, same guy gets the girl at the end of the book ending. Absolutely cliché. Dad says, "I remember all those times you'd come to me with all those big words."

Hi! My novel, 'From The 28th Century' had reached 100+ chapters which I did not expect. I just wanna say that I'm not good at writing romance stories, so the romance here might be a little off. I'm still learning and hope I could achieve writing a romance story. :)))) Everything about this story was all of my imaginations, so it is quite different from the other cultivation stories. This is my first story and I cannot promise that this would be a perfect novel. I admit there are tons of mistakes, but I would do my best to improve.

This is just a minor concern of mine that I want to address. This is a free-chapter and this is also the newest feature that goodnovel added recently, so I might use it to give you some extra knowledge (Glossary, military structure, plot points, character descriptions) in the future. Since there are so many characters running around in the story now, it might get confusing to keep track of all of them just from their names. Let me know if you like this idea. (Lancelot’s POV) The novel “The Love of My Life” is a story best suited for teenagers. That being said, some of the topics discussed in the novel weights heavily on romance compared to other elements, world building included. Because of that, the scale between the love interests’ life stories and others’ life stories tipped unfairly to the love interests’ side. Not like I have any problem with it when I read it. Because, I’ve read somewhere before that other than fantasy books with hellishly long storyline and particular world building, books which was written to suit the romance genre shouldn’t depict too much of characters’ other than the main characters’ life.

SOPHIE Like in every drama series, and novels, there is always a side character that would fulfill the author's wish, and sometimes help unite the main characters together... In this novel, I was that pathetic useless side character, and I knew it. I knew I was the girl who doesn't, and would never ever get the guy that she choses to like, cause I am no main character, or special person, but nevertheless, I would still give a brief introduction about myself

She leaned against the marble counter, her posture exuding confidence that bordered on arrogance. "Daxton's girlfriend, huh?" her words laced with a subtle challenge. I maintained my composure, offering her a polite but steely smile. "Yes, that's right. We've been together for a while now." Caroline's lips curled into a sardonic grin. "Well, that's certainly a surprise, considering Daxton never struck me as the 'settling down' type." "Is that the reason why you cheated?" I said and that seemed to catch her by surprise.

I cannot stop when my fingers have danced on the black keyboard on the bed. My second novel’s character is named Eros Darwin — as the main character who has multiple personalities. I purposely gave Eros Darwin a psychopathic character in this novel; at least, he still lives in a world of fiction. “Eros,” I whispered as my fingers typed Eros’s name into the paragraphs on the flat screen. “Why is it so cold?” I touched the back of my neck because I felt something cold passing there and then spontaneously turned my face to the open balcony.

“It was adorable. He used to hide them behind law textbooks. Thought no one would notice.” Lu turned to me, slowly, disbelief dawning in his expression. “Romance novels?” I kept my face perfectly composed. “It’s called studying character psychology. I was curious how emotional arcs were structured.” Christopher leaned closer to Lu and stage-whispered, “Some of them were very emotionally structured. Especially the ones with the shirtless men on the covers.” I tilted my head, deadpan. “At least they weren’t about knights and dragons like yours.” “Oh they were! But mine had duels. Yours had duels of passion.”

Ever since he came home and started at Colossus Group, he had not spent many nights at the Hoffmans', so he had not realized they had kept the room's old charm. Noelle let go of Charles's hand and dashed to the bookshelf, taking a quick look. "Whoa, you've got the whole Game of Thrones series here! Were you into it? ‘The Tales of Robin Hood', ' Anglo-Saxon Chronicle', some random essays, 'A Brief History of Time'... Charles, you've got a ton of books!" Charles gave the shelf a quick glance and narrowed his eyes a bit. "It’s just for show," he said nonchalantly.
