The Witches Legacy
Nothing in this hellish place made sense, and I felt a wave of helplessness rise within me.
Just as I was about to give up, the door creaked open again. My heart skipped a beat, and I instinctively hid behind the table, my breath shallow and quiet. From my hidden vantage point, I saw the witch standing next to Beth. Her voice was soft and mocking as she whispered, “Poor baby, let me take you out of your misery, darling.”
I watched in horror as the witch detached Beth from the wall and placed her gently on the cold stone table. My blood ran cold at the sight, my heart hammering in my chest. I couldn’t let this happen. Not to Beth. Not again.
