A Queen Among Blood

A Queen Among Blood

The young woman kneels by the man, her heart now racing as she begins to panic. “He’s unharmed. He’s just asleep, I promise,” my animai assures her. She looks up at him and I can see her hands moving fast in front of her, and now it all makes sense. Why she never spoke. She’s mute. Since he spoke to her using words, I take that to mean she’s not deaf. Human folklore dictates that when a human becomes a vampire all human ailments or ‘disabilities’ are healed. That’s not the case with sanguidaes. Illnesses of any kind will certainly be healed, but deformities or disabilities will not. I wonder if the leader turned her believing it would give her, her voice back.

Another amazing story in the A Queen Among series! The characters are amazing, with such depth. The author has such a well thought out mythology, with very thoughtful and thorough explainations, and really pulls you into her universe. I can't wait to see where this story takes us.

This is by far my favourite series! I laughed, cheered and bawled my eyes out. Each book gets better and better and the way each one is connected to the others blows my mind. I'm already itching to find out what happens with Isolde in the next book!

Rejected Love

Rejected Love

He gave me a peck on the lips and then took my hand to walk me downstairs. The best thing about being with him was that he never left me alone. He respected my personal space but he was also overprotective and so cute. As we reached the last step, the doorbell rang. It was Hannah and Bryson with their little son Andrew. He was so cute. He had brown hair like Hannah but green eyes like Bryson. Even though he was just 15 days old, he already looked like a 2-month-old baby. This is because he was a half-blood vampire, being born to a vampire and a human.

The Cure (Book 2 Tugurlan Chronicles)

The Cure (Book 2 Tugurlan Chronicles)

It was clear her status hadn’t changed one iota. When a female vampire gives birth it is not uncommon for her to bleed excessively; much more than a female human. If the bleeding is not stopped quickly, the vampiress could literally drain of all blood and die. Traditionally, Yolanda would heal the vampire with her touch and her blood, but Dragomir had seen to it that Yolanda’s blood wasn’t adequate. It was tainted by Osip, a new vampire who was originally made by Wadim, the king of the mutants. Even though Dragomir had cleansed Osip when he arrived at Dracula’s castle, it would take the better part of a century before he was fully free of Wadim’s DNA. Dragomir knew this when he had Osip he

The Last Dragon’s Enslaved Lycan Mate

The Last Dragon’s Enslaved Lycan Mate

"We've been tryi--" "Victoria," the woman interrupted, her voice cutting through the air like a sharp blade. Visenya was taken aback by the sudden interruption, but it gave her an opportunity to truly see the woman before her. Despite her malnourished appearance, Victoria possessed a striking beauty. Her long, straight black hair cascaded down her back, a stark contrast against her pale, porcelain skin. And those eyes, a deep crimson hue, unmistakably marked her as a vampire. The intensity of her gaze revealed a profound hatred, yet it also allowed Visenya to confirm her vampire lineage.

Self-love
I saw people saying this book is similar to "The Alpha King Hated Slave." I initially read it because of that because I love that book. However, as an Author myself, after reading more, I realized they are different in many aspects. I love this books and highly recommend this Book. Well done Author.

Pure vampire

Pure vampire

I walk inside noting a small flat screen TV playing a live feed of the dance floor. My eyes wander to the section across from us. This section has a bed instead of a sofa, but that’s not what I’m currently gawking at. Two blonde female vampires are topless and are sucking the life out of the male in between them. He actual looks like he’s enjoying it. The vampires begin to rub their chest against him and seductively lick the blood still dripping from his neck. I think this should be grossing me out but I’m so hypnotized by it.

Dawn of the Vampires

Dawn of the Vampires

"How can you stand there and say that when you are the one who's seducing a monster?" "First of all, I am NOT seducing anyone! Secondly, you do not know him. I do, and I can say that you are far bigger of a monster than he will ever be!" "Never! All vampires are monsters and no amount of time will ever change that! They are evil beings who deserve to be slaughtered." "Oh my God! Why are you so stubborn and stuck in your ways that you can't wrap your tiny little peanut-sized brain around the fact that they are still people and not all of them are the same?"

Professor And The Feisty Human

Professor And The Feisty Human

I see a hand up, and as someone gives him a microphone, I notice it’s Professor Brown. “Please tell us what this VMP is.” He smiles, and I stare daggers at him. “It’s an illness that affects the cells, causing what we call a vampire disorder.” “What is a vampire disorder?” I glare at him. He obviously knows, and this room is filled with people who know. “People with the vampire disorder don’t age, because their cells are frozen.” “Isn’t that a good thing? I think I would like to have this gene and young forever. Why do you want to cure it or treat it?”

The Alpha's Mate (#1 The Southern Werewolves Pack Series)

The Alpha's Mate (#1 The Southern Werewolves Pack Series)

She felt disgusted as she thought how his blood was running in her veins now. “That was my reaction when he told me, but he didn’t mention your parents’ names. He said your father was a vampire and your mother was a werewolf. As you know, both species are poisonous to each other—neither could survive each other’s bites, but with your case, you were born as a hybrid of something we thought was impossible. There were many births just like yours, but only you survived such. While you are hybrid, your wolf gene allows you to walk under the sun without damage. Damien wanted to have that kind of ability. Your gene holds that secret to allow vampires walking under the sun without damage.”
