She walks up to the podium, trying her best to remain calm. "My daughter is the best gift I ever received from God. Raising her is my most favorite thing to do. I never knew God will take her away from me sooner." Emily's mom began crying. "My baby Emily, I don't know how I can live without you. Maybe if I gave you more freedom, you'll still be here. I'm sorry baby. I could have been a better mother. We could have been better parents." She walked back to her seat. Her husband immediately embraced her.

She never for once thought about herself in the process, she just wanted a healthy mother. She blinked tears away as she finally saw her mother smiling with the nurse who seemed to be cracking jokes. “Mum?” she called softly, her voice filled with longing and a hint of fear. In that moment, her mother halted, a flicker of recognition dawning in her eyes as she turned toward her daughter. “Mum,” she said, her smile mingling with tears, capturing the deep emotional bond they shared. Her mother, equally overwhelmed with emotion, let out a small whimper as her daughter rushed to embrace her, their hearts swelling with the joyous relief of being reunited after such a long, difficult time apart.

The daughter clung tightly to her mother as if afraid that this miracle might slip away if she let go, and the mother held on just as fiercely, as if to confirm that this was, indeed, a reality and not a fleeting dream. Overwhelmed with emotion, he took a step forward, making his presence known. The mother and daughter turned towards him, their faces lighting up with joy.
