“Good morning.” “Ghost,” Esme said, looking past me at the landscape in awe. “This is amazing.” My view stretched over the mountain range. A deep watershed between two hills formed a narrow river that cut through an opening in the forest. The sun shining from the East highlighted the deciduous trees that were beginning to turn. “What’s your real name?” “Jake. Jake Thompson.” Esme stood next to me, leaning her head against my shoulder. I put my arm around her to draw her closer. This would be a moment in time I would remember forever. “How did you sleep?”

Her priority is the pup. Her only daily joy is walking around the pack house. Esme has planted hundreds of beautiful roses and flowers around the house and every time she arrives in the garden Elle calms down. It is her fragrant oasis. But today her condition is slightly strange. Athena is agitated and could not put an end to this restlessness to figure out what is wrong.

The island was a sight to behold, with its lush green landscapes, pristine beaches, and a bustling city that seemed to sparkle in the evening light. As they stepped out of the plane, the crisp sea breeze welcomed them, carrying the scent of salt and adventure.

Cara stepped off the supply boat onto the narrow dock and the wind immediately whipped her hair across her face. The island felt smaller than the photos suggested. Eleven acres of rock and grass and one tall white tower cutting into the grey sky. She adjusted the strap of her bag on her shoulder and looked up the path. Eli Marsh was waiting at the top.

Do I need anything? She rubbed her hand over her protruded stomach. She was looking nervous too. I nibbled on my lower lip and waited for her to invite me. "Esme," Jasper smiled looking at me. He took long strides and kissed my cheek, "Why are you standing out? Please, come in." He put his hand over my shoulder and led me inside. Things would seem weird to me. I hoped by the time the weirdness would vanish or perhaps I wouldn't see them ever after our divorce.

We were expected to be at the airport within two hours. "Bikinis?" I gave her a questioning look. "Yeah. The show is happening on an island in Fiji. Pack all your sexy bikinis, girl. Don't forget your sunscreens as well." Samantha pointed at them on the table. "There were be men around, you know. Fine, sexy, hot-blooded males." She winked. "What's that for? I told you I'm not going there for love." I rolled my eyes. The one I thought I had vanished into thin air.

They’ll destroy you.” He knew it was a mistake to say that as soon as it came out of his mouth. Isabelle turned round, the fury showing in here eyes. “I think that you underestimate me!” She almost screamed at the now powerless Brethren Member who had dared to question her. “I think it would be in your best interest to be careful not to do it again.” She managed the last part in a much more controlled voice.
