Road trips were boring especially if you didn't have a people of your age with you. I put my book down when the car stopped. We had reached. In front of us was a house that was huge, scratch that it was a mansion. Tiny bulbs lighted up the courtyard leading towards the house . We got out of the car and made our way towards the house . As soon as the house opened I was enveloped in kisses and hugs that crushed my bones . Little kids were hugging my legs that I practically stumbled twice. I was finally given space and thats when I really saw all my family members .

It was only a couple hours into our long drive that we made a pit stop and I was with my brother, which I always enjoy more. I love spending time with my mom but like she said this time is Barrett and I’s time to decompress and just get out what we are feeling or whatever we need to talk about. Which we don’t have a problem talking to our mom, that’s another thing about moving so much, your family is very close knit together because your all each other has almost all the time.

Now I really need to move, my mom is the kindest woman in the world but you don't want to piss her off. I pop my book in my bag and make my way out to the SUV. There is a line of vehicles ready to go, my families and the rest are full of 30 warriors for protection and 15 she-wolfs hoping to find their mates at the pack we are visiting. Once I'm in and we're all buckled up we set off for our journey. Let the fun begin. 2 hours left until we should finally be free of this car. Luckily I've managed to read a few chapters of my book and got in a four-hour nap, go me.

She stood there blankly but the robot dog in her arms was still barking, so the sight was strangely funny. Her face pale, she unconsciously stepped back, trying to escape this chaotic vortex. "Stop!" A hoarse roar came from Dad. His eyes were bloodshot as he stared fixedly at my already cold corpse on the operating table. Then, he looked at his wife struggling on the floor and his son howling with his head in his hands. He suddenly charged at Carrie and grabbed her throat, his voice filled with endless regret and madness. "It's your fault! It's all your fault! You ruined our family! Give me back my Jasmine!"

As we headed home, a voice in my head, one that wasn't my wolf this time, began to think I might be moving toward something deeper than just liking him. ​The drive back was a mix of happy and sad, but we kept it fun regardless. We pulled over at a gas station halfway through Georgia and picked up enough snacks, sweets, and drinks to put a whole class of kids into a sugar crash. We shared our favorite tracks and listened to a good chunk of the first Harry Potter audiobook. It felt like a wonderful dream I never wanted to wake up from.
