The once playful expressions of the demons changed to a serious one. "From the looks of it...the past is calling for you isn't it? The books you were looking at a while ago were all about flowers and plants. Once we think you're ready we'll help you out." Futurio grabbed a book from the shelf. It was old, torn and tattered the paper was browning out. "You were looking at books with shiny and new covers. You won't get anything in them it's better to check older books." She didn't expect the brothers to give her a hint about the books. They were right, since the war happened years ago the information about them must have been buried by now.

I would love to offer something to the creator that will allow all dragons a destined mate, but I do not have any ideas yet. The last few pages of the book are empty, except one. It’s a sketch of a beautiful woman lying on the bed. Her body shape is gorgeous. It reminds me of Tru’s. I place the book down and wonder what’s happening. The book is in my writing, and the entries sound like they are me, but it isn’t possible. I never came here after the stone disappeared. I was too busy searching. The dates are of a time I was stone.

I know the story went through a drastic change in plot, and I sincerely apologize for that. Something unexpected happened in my real life, and because of it, I had to step back from writing and romanticizing werewolves. Honestly, I struggled a lot since last year and kept contemplating whether I should just drop this book entirely. However, I felt bad doing so because I’m not used to abandoning stories I already started.

SARA POV (YEAR 2077, 56 YRS LATER) "Now he is a fine chunk of meat. I can see why all the girls want him," the older waitress says as she appears next to me. I quickly close my worn book. My cheeks tint a little, and I give her a small smile. "I still can't believe they are real even though my friend's granddaughter is mated to one of them," she says while refilling my mug with fresh coffee.

I didn't want to go all out with the decorations, but I couldn't help myself. I heard the door ring as soon as I lit the last candle. I quickly rushed towards the door, undone my braids, played with them through my fingers, and felt some damp areas. I opened the door, and I sucked in my breath. Liam stood there looking like fucking Robert Sheehan - he's from Mortal Engine and that new show on N*****x. He looks like him but with muscle and more handsome. I became a fan of Robert Sheehan when I watched Mortal Engine on bootleg. Super cute.

The sun had long since set, and the library was now lit only by the warm glow of brass lamps. Piles of rejected books cluttered the tables like tombstones of dead theories. Fennigan reached for the very last book in the stack. It was a crumbling, nondescript tome bound in gray hide that looked like it had survived a fire. The title on the spine had worn away centuries ago. He opened it carefully, the binding cracking in protest. He flipped past pages of ancient genealogy and territory maps until he stopped near the end. His finger traced a faded illustration of a wolf surrounded by symbols of fire, water, earth, and air.
