It was pulling her down underwater. To her dismay, all the struggling and kicking didn’t do much. She ended up facing the bird. The bird had awoken from its slumber and its eyes stared straight into her soul. She shivered in fright when she sensed that its’ eyes revealed its’ intelligence. Creatures that could comprehend the human mind was even more alarming than normal creatures. She didn’t even know if she would ever face a creature in her entire life.

Seawater was entering my mouth and nose and was filtered as it exited through the slits behind my ear. ‘Are these gills?!’

Pearl was smiling and I just noticed that Cayden had already followed me and those who were with us except Gen and Alice were clustered swimming a little far away from us. We are all swimming in different styles. My long hair also goes with my movements. The loser still rejoiced hahaha. I start feeling it happen and it is like a burning sensation, I almost fall to my knees but Blake catches me and holds me up, the pain continues and five minutes later, I have a green tail the color of my eyes. I cannot stand upright without Blake holding me up, I continue imagining growing gills to help me breathe underwater and I feel my neck opening up and when I touch it with my hand, I feel gills.

She said excitedly at him. "Really?" "Yes, come here fast. I saw Nemo underneath" She had been excited to show it to him. "Who's Nemo?" Evan asked in curiosity. "Didn't you know Nemo? Are serious right now?" Bea asked in disbelief. "Nemo, the orange fish in the movie, Finding Nemo." Bea explained. It had been her favorite movie when she was young. The movie was good and entertaining. They both submerged themselves underneath and Bea pointed her right hand at the orange fishes near them.

Like he was born in the water and just decided to be human for fun. His strokes are powerful and smooth, cutting through the water with incredible speed. He's already halfway across the pool and the rest of us have barely started. "Is he even human?" someone from the audience shouts. I want to yell back, "He's part dolphin! Surprise!" I mindlinked with him. *The first breath is the scariest* I said. *It's okay just use your gills. It's like taking in a big breath without opening your mouth. Just try, it will come naturally.* I watched him as he worked through it, when he realized it was easy, he smiled. I watched him carefully, his eyes were wide with wonder. Then his eyes landed on me, my long black curls danced around my face, my eyes glowed a light blue, with the pulse of the ocean. I was all his. and he was my proud mate.
