They all stood in front of Novelty, the book store that had been converted into a small book cafe with scrumptious cakes on display. There was a wooden sign above the door and some flower pots by the windows. Reid turned to me with his a hesitant expression. “I work here as a part time staff,” he let out while looking almost embarrassed. “Their coffee is the best in the city, that's the truth.”

She walked to the back of the building, to a small coffee shop in the back block of the building. The cafe is small, but has an interesting decor, the coffee and pastries are great, and the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed. Lea ordered a mocha late and two kinds of saltines snack and sat down on a chair in the corner. She opened the email and opened the F******k link sent by Nina.

There were also many cats of various breeds in the café. Heather was an animal lover. Although it would be impossible for her to rear one on her own, she still enjoyed occasionally petting one. When Leon woke up and saw the name of the café, which sounded like his cup of tea, he immediately contacted Heather. On the other hand, Paige was quite surprised that Heather would invite her over to a place like that. The café was designed with an anime theme, something she did not expect Heather to be fond of. JAX POV The Morning Bean Cafe is not my kind of place. I know that before I even push open the door. The windows are large and welcoming, there's a chalkboard sign out front with a cute drawing of a coffee cup wearing a scarf, and everything inside is painted in warm, cheerful colors. There's a shelf of books in the corner and plants hanging from the ceiling. It's the kind of place where people probably know each other's names and the barista asks about your day and actually means it.

I run down the stairs before taking a look around. I shudder in revulsion before running out of the house. Today I'll only be working at the cafe. It's a cute cafe. They mostly sell coffee and pastries but there's a section for books. There are books you can even borrow to read. It was honestly so beautiful,homey and cozy. I fell in love with it at first sight. I entered the cafe to see people already there. I hurried to the backroom to get ready for my shift and deposit my things. I saw my co-worker there.

The cafe was located at a street close to her precint. As Detective Sophia entered the cafe, she noticed the warm aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafting through the air.
