I grabbed her firmly from behind, my chest slamming into her back as I braced her weight. My hands acted on pure reflex, wrapping around her to keep her upright. Because of the way she was falling and the height of my reach, my large hands landed firmly around her chest, holding her still to prevent her from sliding down.

He falls down, sound asleep. I open my window and look around. No auras surrounding the area I'm in. I move out the window with nimble movements and hang by one hand, the two-storey drop stretching down below me. I locate a good place to land and hope there are no stones there or spikes. I would have seen them as slight shadows on the floor. At the last minute I raise my hand up, grab the windowsill and slam it in a shutting motion while releasing my hand so I can drop down.

“I’ll lower you, and then…it will be like, three feet…” I can’t help another little shriek of fear as I press my eyes shut and do as he says, dangling from his hands, clinging to him as he lowers me – But then, quite suddenly – his hands are gone, and I give another little shriek as I plummet to the ground – Or, well, fall three feet. -HER- As I continued to fall and fall into the pitch-black hole, I yelled at the top of my lungs. The strange thing was that my scream did not resound. I don't remember how long I fell, but it seemed like an eternity. As gravity seized me, I had my eyes tightly clenched and the wind was rushing past my ears. I had given up shouting because it didn't seem to help. However, at one point I felt someone restraining me and the wind stopped swooshing past my ears. I understood the fall had been broken, but how?

For a moment, I remain where I’ve fallen, breathing hard with my body pressed against the dirt, but then I begin to slide slowly downward. I dig in frantically with my fingers, seeking some purchase to stop my fall, but the dirt is too loose. Worse, I’m beginning to slip more rapidly as my momentum builds. I don’t have to look behind me to know what’s going to happen if I’m unable to stop myself. My hand finds a small shrub, and I lock my fingers desperately around its base. For a few seconds my fall is stopped and I think I’ve saved myself. Then my weight pulls the plant’s roots from the soil, and I resume my slide toward oblivion.

I threw my weight against him and he stumbled as he tried to hold me. “Damn, Ady! What are you trying to do? Squish me??” Gabe asked. The incredulous look on his face had me bursting out in laughter, I almost teared up. “Help,” I gasp, “gravity is increasing on me.” I push the back of my hand against my forehead and close my eyes. “I have no strength and could have dropped you!” Gabe laughed as he pushed me to my feet. Throwing him a smile, I interlocked my arm with his and pulled him along.

Soon she saw the orchids and patches of grass come closer and closer and realised something very stupid. 'I don't know how to slow down?!' She panicked. Grabbing onto the ceramic was impossible since it's glossy coat slipped right through her fingers and instead she braced herself for a rough landing. Her body crashed onto the grass which grunted in response to her weight. 'Wait! grass doesn't grunt?' Her body which seemed unharmed from the fall easily lifted her head and she found herself staring into angry red eyes. 'Oh no' she thought as she realised that the grass didn't have any face much less one that was so ridiculously attractive.

CELESTE'S POV My hands hit the railing, and then there was nothing under my feet. I was falling but my mind could not even catch up with what was happening. One second I was standing there. The next, the whole world turned upside down while the garden lights below me spun in circles. Without thinking I reached out and caught hold of something, the edge of an old piece of wood from the garden frame. The rough edge tore my palm, while my body reacted to it. For one second, I was just hanging there in the air with my legs dangling freely.

The break is corrupt! My hands are damn shaking because in just a minute I would probably fall in that damn cliff! I tried again and again the break but it’s totally not functioning! I closed my eyes intently and tried so hard to think. I tried to open the door but it was too late. Before I can open the door my car slowly fell off in the cliff. I shouted in horror and I could only think about is…this time it would really be my end. This is my end. My tears fell and I feel dizzy. My head is throbbing as I felt the gravitational force of falling down from a high cliff.
