Kristen’s POV Two weeks later. The field has over a thousand people from the Greyhound pack and other neighboring packs who are here for the Greyhound pack run. Something which has been anticipated for a very long time because this time, things are a bit different. Calhoun will ask the winner to demand whatever he or she wants and it will be given. Contestants from other packs are also allowed to partake in the Greyhound run, although it was prohibited before, but this time it's different because everyone is allowed to participate as long as they're above twenty-one years of age.

A huge sign hang above the doors written "Golden Silver" in gold and "men only" was written at the bottom in small, silver italics. "No cutting in line," the bouncer said as he folded his arms. Higan gave the intimidating man a black card and he took it. After reading through, he handed the card back to Higan and stepped aside. We walked into the building and I squinted my eyes at the small lights that illuminated some parts of the room with different colours. Some people danced around while others talked in corners.

She freely spends her money on her dog and whatever new boy toy she picks up for the evening because she has no children.
