the Guardian intoned, "your bond has harmonized with the Nexus. Yet, forces conspire to disrupt this equilibrium. You must confront these threats to safeguard all realms." The gravity of our mission crystallized. We pledged to protect the Nexus and the interconnected realms it sustained. --- Damian's Perspective Before departing, the Guardian bestowed upon us a fragment of its essence—a luminescent crystal pulsating with energy. "This will aid you in times of need," the Guardian explained. "Use it wisely." With gratitude, we accepted the gift, understanding its significance in the trials ahead. --- Elara's Perspective Returning to our realm, we found time had scarcely passed, yet we were irr

Everything he was hearing was totally preposterous. "The Guardian left his queen to do her bidding," Gard continued as if he hadn't been interrupted, his voice cold and lifeless. "He was connected to his sister and her mate by a bond only death could break. The Council rose up against them. Every single wound, every single cry of pain drove The Guardian to his knees. It became too much for him. He hid the child alone in the forest and raced back to protect them. He was too late. Anakatrine and Callain were destroyed at the hands of their own people. He had failed his queen, his beautiful sister. Grieving he returned to complete her last edict. The child was gone, her blood soaked gown the on

The massive Beta was standing at attention, shield deployed, every instinct screaming protect even though his conscious mind knew that the thing looking at him could unmake his atoms with a thought. YOU ARE A GUARDIAN, the Dreamer said with obvious approval. I DID NOT DESIGN GUARDIANS. YOUR LOYALTY IS A VARIABLE I DID NOT ANTICIPATE. IT IS, IN MY EXPERIENCE, THE MOST INTERESTING THING ABOUT THIS UNIVERSE. Marcus said nothing. But his shield glowed brighter. Then the eyes found Arthur. The repentant Shareholder sat on the crystallized floor, his prison jumpsuit dusty, his silver hair wild, his face streaked with tears that had been falling for three days. When the Dreamer's attention settled

"Listen carefully. Everything we’ve known until now, about the Guardians, about the Order, about our sacred mission, is a handed-down lie." He held up a piece of nearly disintegrated parchment. On it, a figure was crudely etched: a human silhouette standing before a massive gate. But the human wasn't guarding the gate. He was chained to it. And from the gate, hands like the ones Siron had just seen were reaching out.

It was beating fast—just as fast and just as wild as mine. “I still can’t believe this,” I whispered, still lost in awe and wonder, barely able to grasp the reality of what was happening. “It feels like a dream, something too beautiful and too painful to be real. I can’t believe that a guardian like you—someone meant to watch over from afar, someone bound by duty and rules—fell… all because of a forbidden love with a human like me.” My words made him tighten his arms around me, pulling me even closer as if he was afraid I might disappear if he let go even a little.

Only it has the size of a bear and a purple shaded skin. She was still catching her breath when the prince made his way to her. When Prince Fazan was approaching the gates, he couldn’t spot his father nor Princess Thalyn. He wondered what’s keeping them when he saw both of their seats empty. A feeling akin to disappointment and anger surged through him and he slowed down his pace. He was already thinking of ways to tame and punish the troublesome stone princess. He touched the fair mane of his mount, petting it to calm his raving emotions. Halting the march, he raised his right hand and the trumpets sounded along with the audience praise signaling the champion’s arrival.

I had gotten used to solving normal human problem’s,but never had I ever had to solve a paranormal problem,a guardian deals with odd cases. Mr Phenyo had made it clear before me and the other initiates signed a work contract to become guardians,he said that the position of a guardian or an agent was not simple, nor safe.He also emphasized that some of his former colleagues had to be admitted to a mental institution for mental health illness due to coming in contact with non human species. “You need to be prepared for anything. Don’t panic when you see odd looking creatures or any spiritual entities. You will be guardians”he stated.

I turned around and faced the person with a calm facade even if my insides were in chaos. "Ah, yes that is my child's. Thank you." I said and grabbed Dame's towel. I lowered my head as my heart quickened its pace. I knew it the moment I turned around to face him... he's a Guardian. He has a large golden badge on his left chest with symbols that says 'Guardian' aside from the dominating aura he was giving off. His calm and nonchalant demeanor contradicts the enormous strength I sensed from him. What a monster. His power made me feel alert and nervous. Mysticuria is really on a different level.

“Or at least, it’s similar to one of his quotes.” She nodded. “Does all of Black Crimson’s art illustrate some fairy tale or another?” I sent her a curious glance. Motioning behind her, she explained. “Well, that one was obviously Rapunzel. And the one before was the Big Bad Wolf, right?” “Holy shit,” I cried, gaping at her before shaking my head and returning my attention to the road. “I think you’re right. I remember another one having some guy leaning over a sleeping woman and one had a mermaid on it, which must be—”

“My feelings for Ailduin are no different than my feelings for Clint. The Guardian spirit does not reincarnate with the human, Liam. It reincarnates as a wolf spirit but not with the feelings of the previous wolf. While I have the memories of Jinelle and Lily, and their wolves, it does not change my feelings for you. You are my mate, and that will not change until we die.” He takes me by my hips, pulling me against him. “Does he know that?” He asks me as if Ailduin isn’t standing right there. “As the Guardian’s lead chronicler for over a century, I’m quite sure he understands how the Guardian spirit works. Right, Ailduin?” “Angel is correct. My feelings for this Guardian line are driven by m
