Hatchet Book Summary Novels & Stories

That power in my hands was intoxicating. I turned my gaze back to the village. The pickings in the clearing were slim, with everyone still in their little houses. The barn. I could take care of Doyle and his pack of abominations. At least it would get them off the playing field for when the real fight starts. That’s it then. I draped her pancakes with honey and dropped it on the table right in front of her, serving it with a glass of milk, after which I went back to the kitchen and had mine with a cup of hot chocolate. No one was at the hospital when I got there, and luckily for me, I brought a book along, so I sat right beside the bed and started reading the book. The book was “ My Father's Wish” by Bellaboy, a touching story of how a young man, Hunter, was set up by his late father's will to marry his middle school bully, Hazel, just so that he; Hunter, could claim his inheritance.

I nodded my head and thanked him before I stood up with his help. “Something's wrong.” Kavier reminded me when his brows furrowed, slowly backing in front of me as if he was trying to protect me. Also, Aaron, who seemed to have felt it earlier, had already stood by my side. “Watch out!” I suddenly heard Kavier's shout as Aaron wrapped my waist and hugged me as we rolled on the ground. When I looked up, I saw the almost ten hatchets suddenly swing towards our direction earlier. If it wasn't for Kavier's shout to remind us, who knows where those hatches would land? Maybe instead of landing on the tree, it might land on our kidney instead.

“Are you guys ready to finally do as we were formed to do?” My eyes glared at Callighan as he lifted his head up to the sky. Once that loud howl came from him, we all prepared ourselves as the wolves charged at us altogether. All we could do was fight to our hearts desire. One charged at me and right when I thought life was over for me, the gunshots came right after him. Pow! Pow! Pow! Pow! However, those shots were not enough… -To Be Continued- The End of Book 2

Throughout the entire walk in the partly dark surroundings, they looked back, watching for people who might try to nab them as they increased their pace with each passing second. Luckily, they made it back to the cabin in no time, and Hazel rushed into their room, walking to her cupboard, which was made of finely crafted wood. Swiftly, she pulled it open, drawing out a black box. She unzipped it while Finn watched her with no clue what she was searching for. After a few seconds of searching, she pulled out a huge book bound at its four corners by a metal clasp. “I cannot believe that I thought I would be studying this the entire stay at camp,” she said as she dusted the cover with her hands.

said the Hatter, “and just in time to uphold your end of the bargain. Cut off his head? Eye for an eye.” The Hatter nodded towards his minion who walked over to Amber and placed a machete type knife in her hand. It shouldn’t have surprised her really. This man had fully intended to behead Grayson after all. The knife was heavy in her hand. The Hatter took another bite of his sugar cookie shaped like Santa as he watched her. “Do it Giovanna,” coaxed her father.

I go through hell and back to have everything I have now, cut loose my parents and be on myself. And the hard part of this story is that all this money and power are not coming without a price. The price is a very dangerous one, balancing between a good and a violent crowd. I'm playing between the Pentagon, all military of the United States and the dark side of it. The dark side is gangs, mafia families, a lot of disputes and acts of revenge.

I was so hungry I saw stars. Everything had double vision. The book of 20-dollar scratch cards Mom gave me felt like a countdown to my death. Only one card remained. The 30 dollars I had won before this, even though I had been incredibly frugal, eating nothing but plain bread and canned soup for every meal, had lasted two weeks at most. My stomach felt like an invisible hand was squeezing it tight, cramping with pain. So I clung to one last shred of hope and called Mom.

"Don't worry dear. You won't be coughing next time. Just wait for the right time to us and you will regret to be born." "Well done to someof my men who keeps these two guys as their punching bag and they can vent the resentment they felt. "Sir, already take care of the mole." Hatch again came back to me. "Good. If you are busy, you can go already." I inform him but he shook his head. "I wanted to watch the live action here when you tried to kill them." Hatch leaned on the wall and started to act like a cool man. Whatever, atleast we get rid one of our enemy.
