I browsed the shelves, and I read the titles. The air was heavy with the scent of parchment and dust, the large shelves stretching high up to the ceilings, stacked with books too old to even remember their authors. I ran my fingers along the spines of the books, scanning the titles. Ancient Clan Wars. The First Kingdoms. Blood and Silver: The History of Alpha Dynasties. None of these were what I needed. I sighed, moving deeper into the archives. There had to be something here. I spent hours flipping through books, scanning old texts, piecing together fragments of history that barely made sense. Just when I was about to give up, my fingers brushed against a large, worn-out book hidden behind several others.

He climbs back down the ladder and strides toward me with his long legs, handing the book to me. What made her look extra cute were those ridiculously over-sized glasses on her face. It looked like the class was being conducted inside a library. The shelves were lined with thick volumes of books that were mostly about the history of Britain; Religion and the Decline of magic: Studies in Popular Beliefs in Sixteenth and Seventeenth Century England, A People's History of England, The Fall of the British Monarchies, and so on.

I must do my objective here first. at last, now here in the History section. unlike the books from other shelves who has the same way of oldness in them, the books in the History section has different stages of being old. some are really worn out and some where just fairly new. grabbing a random book, I skimmed through the pages, wanting to know what era or year this was written, or what year did the content of the book happened. but the book only talked about the happenings of the coronation of the King Youseff Troy Von Travensky and Queen Violetta Suzette Perues. grabbing another book, i skimmed again but it was not the one i was looking for, ‘Maybe i should go for the newer ones.’
